Fangio went to Miami and I know ownership wanted Evero kept, so without Fangio I believe Payton will keep Evero as DC.

But have talked to two people in last week - IMO very credible, you may or may not agree.

They sai Fangio very inflexible. Cost Mora is job in Indy because stubborn about who he's played and wouldn't dumb down his defense. Was okay his 1st year there and his second year was not successful. Bundy brought in with a simpler scheme that younger players could play within.. . allowing the team to build around Manning more...and go

Second guy said Fangio is super smart but hard to get along with, not loved (respected) not loved in the Broncos building. They wanted it to work, it did to a degree for a few years...considered the Payton/Fagio super pairing but not worth the trouble. Remember it was said Payton and Fangio were going to be a package deal--but this was one issue--Denver went away from Payton to Ryans for probably a number of reasons no one really knows but one was *probably* cannot prove that they didn't want Fangio back-that Evero, a Fangio disciple was just as good, if not better.

Take it for what it is worth
