Minnesota needs a DC and O'Connell is waiting for Evero to become available.

I think Evero did a good job. They fell apart at the end but when the offense tanks like
they did with Wilson, it is hard to keep it together. We saw that they were not good
when we played them but they were a good unit before that.

Evero is a good fit for Min...same kind of Famgio-based scheme.

I think Irsay wants to find any way possible to keep Saturday. The fans have a petition
to not keep Saturday and Irsay went out of a limb to hired him and may not want to
lose face by letting him go so fast. The interview process may be genuine, maybe
there is good faith if they find someone they really like or if Irsay sees that Saturday
is just untenable...just guessing - but they are also waiting for Philly OC as well.

But with Payton, he lost Fangio--who he said was a package deal will probably
want someone he knows . . . but I think they'd be better off keeping what they
have going.
