It also isn't a coincident that Thomas Brown took back over coaching the RB's and Sample left town

Cam finished the year with three straight 100+ rushing games...Todd Gurley did that back in 2015 was the last time a Rams RB did that.

I just don't get why you'd want to trade him now?
