It is a bit early.by SoCalRAMatic - Rams Chronicles
The Rams do this a lot and it makes sense. They will cut you if your contract is too high. If another tram is willing to pay the price we shrug and get a comp pick the following year. If nobody picks up the dude they re-sign them to a fair deal.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I think we could easily lose the opener against the Texans. Not sure why we woukd improve on last year's 10-7.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
So much consternation about our RBs. Yes, KW fumbles, but he is one of the top rushers in the NFL. He is exceptional at picking up blitzes. He often makes yards with no holes. I like him, a lot. Corum is basically a clone of KW. That could be a good thing. He now knows the playbook to work on his blocking. If KW goes down or needs rest you have a perfect sub. No need to change plays.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
In no particular order… Where will Hunter wind up on RB pecking order? I’m betting #2 with significant contributions whlile giving Kyren a breather. And if Kyren starts putting that ball on the ground… KW will still get lion's share of PT. I'd like it to be 45 percent. Corum gets 30 percent. The rookie get 25. Is Shelton gonna be our starting C? I think so, at least for first half of seby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com

Wow! Another shot at Tutu. When will it end? Atwell is our third starting receiver and he's getting $10 million dollars to do it. Our HC has stated that Tutu comes through when targeted and blames himself for not taking better advantage of this weapon. If you double Puka and Adams who is covering Tutu? With Tutu's rare speed you really need to double him. I think this 3-headed monster will drby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
If we get in a goal line situation and McVay wants to add some beef to the play he could line up Poona in the back field and we could hear... Puka goes in motion, the give is to Poona, Tutu throws a block, Poona is in...touchdown!!!by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I think Snead and McVay know the difference between having an OL that can protect their QB or not. I also can see that the subs last season, McClendon and Arcuri didn't look good at all in their play. Signing Shelton to compete at OC was a wise move, because he wither starts, which means that he beat out Limmer in camp, or he doesn't and he becomes a valuable sub ay LG, OC and RG. Morris got us 2 third round draft picks. One of which we traded to get a first rounder for next year. That pick could turn into a franchise QB. TY!!by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com

Glad McVay likes the kid. I don't expect him to beat out Higbee or Parkinson right away. I can see him actually to a lot of the same stuff at Kupp where he goes in motion and either blocks or catches quick passes while going full speed.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
So, the Bills have eon the Super Bowl? Yikes!by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Impossible to compare drafts to other teams who drafted guys in the first round. Glad the guy liked our later picks. I do too. They say you can't judge a draft pick for 3 years. Well, we are comparing judgements and grades after day. These rookies haven't even reported yet. I will wait until we use the Falcon pick a year from now and then we could start to compare.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
You could be right Headslapper. We may never know what went if with this kid. Could be ego, frustration. IDK. My point is he was on top of the college world. He did it twice. Georgia was unstoppable and he ran the show flawlessly. His measurables forced him down in the draft, but they rest was top shelf. If his head is truly screwed on right, maybe he is still the future QB. Or, maybe Jimmy G ruby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not predicting they would do that Droopy. I'm just second-guessing those who state for sure that our Rams would package those picks together with more picks to trade up to the top of the draft to select a QB, specifically Manning. When we chose AD we didn't need a DT, but he was the BPA. We could indeed take a QB as the eventual replacement for Stafford.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Hoping to get a productive discussion about the Rams' QB room. Here are my thoughts... Stafford, though year-to-year, can play several more if we protect him and limit his hits. He is undoubtably our clear starter as long as he chooses to be. I think throwing dirt on the guy is way premature. If we win it all he might retire, but it seems he really wants to win a second SB. Jimmy G-The pby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
The so-called GOAT QB ran a poor 40 and dropped to the 6th round. Jerry Rice, the WR GOAT ran a slow 40, yet put up records which probably will never be broken. Kupp was never a burner yet won a WR triple crown and was MVP of a SB. So, we just picked up a LB who ran a "slow" 40. He was the best tackler in college but undraftable. My question is why do you think teams putby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Yikes. That was totally worthless. I can put up with tragic misspells if the content is insightful, but I don't see any new ideas in this diatribe, except that he believes that Corum was a total bust. I completely disagree. We added the fastest TE in the draft and a RB who runs a 4.4!!by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I disagree with the article. CB-S : we have lots of guys who can play these positions. In our nickel we have Spoon, DW and Durant as starters. We had some young guys for depth and signed Forbes who was a former first round pick. Good chance we are adding to this room. Lake, Kinchens at safety. Good chance we are trading for a top DB. Swing OT- we just extended our LT for 3 years and Haby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com

Yes there is. I know it. But, it seems that the Rams are are very good at restructuring contracts to make guys fit under the cap. So maybe you don't re-sign Kyren Williams to an expensive contract and you play Corum. We haven't seen Stafford's new deal. Maybe that helps. Another thing that occurs to me is we take on big salary star players anytime if year. It was very hard to fit that Hall of Famby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
One more thought about this crazy plan. I would like to see them coordinate all 3 trades at the same time. Much better if coordinated. Don't show the winning hand until all the bets are in.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I wouldn't write Havs off so quickly. When he's healthy he's a top RT. Slater played RT for 20 years. No way to know how long wants to play and when he would start to lose his skills. Our front office should meet with him and his reps and cone up with an exit plan. Havs is the last Saint Louis Ram. Would hate to see him go.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not sure what the Ravens might want in an Andrews trade, but Snead could figure out fair compensation. We would absolutely have to do some cap magic to fit the three stars into our cap, but it is the idea that instead of drafting a rookie TE, CB and edge we trade the picks for the established stars. It worked last time we won it all.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
