Yea , it's tough to get into the playoffs here

There are usually 8 districts , per class , and only the top two from each district make it, so only 16 teams per class

There are ALOT of really good teams that don't make it every year , you pretty much have to go undefeated or only one lost , teams with two losses usually need help , like being in a little weaker district

I'm kinda torn on the issue , the way it is now , you really do have to earn it, which I like

But some times I'm like..............

99% of these kids will never play organized football again after high school , would it really hurt to open up the playoff field just a little bit

But one problem we face here is the weather , even the way it is now, the Playoffs go well into November , many playoff games are played in freezing weather , snow , ,ice , high winds , freezing rain , we have a lot of really crappy games towards the end of the year, it's kinda hard to add even more weeks to the schedule
