Funny story about fog....

back in the 70's I had season tickets to the Rams. So on a game day we knew it was going to be foggy so we left home at 3am for the 1pm kickoff. Normally, without fog, a 4 to 4.5 hour drive.

This morning, however, it was BAD... a half mile from my home I actually went off the road into my cousins yard, (there were no white or yellow lines on our road at that time so the road was invisible. I got to Tranquillity, then another ¼ or so and gave up. I pulled over and we waited for it to clear at least a little. After sitting there for a little over an hour, and no let up in the fog, I decided to give it another try... I pulled out and took and I didn't get 200' and came out of the fog to maybe the clearest day I have ever seen.... I could almost see LA.
