I would really like to know what happened to Havs. This kid was nearly perfect as a rookie as I believe he allowed NO sacks. He continued to play well when healthy and got the big contract. I know he came off an injury this off season. Was he still out of shape from it? Was he still affected which restricted his movements? It all makes little sense that he just got bad. He is young and very strong. Sometimes he was initially beat off the snap by speed rushers but could use his long arms and amazing strength to stop their rushes. I think there's more to the mystery and the Rams coaching and medical staff know what's up. Could be his ankle of knee slowed him down a hair and that is the difference in his play. Maybe he's recovered and will work on his foot speed to get back to being a top ROT. I really hope so. For him and the Rams. If he comes back at 100 percent, they resign Whit for a year to play LOT and keep Blythe at OC then we are a couple of guards away from a solid line. Between Boom, Corbett, Evans and Edwards we should be able to start two and have depth with the other two. All that being said I agree with the idea of drafting a top OC if one is bailable with our 2nd round pick. The best teams have a top center and we never seem to prioritize the position. I've advocated for this for years. The last time I remember the Rams drafting a center high was Bern Brostek and he anchored a good line for years. I remember Rich Saul too. We should get a top player for the spot. It is tres important!
