So I’m going to cut him some slack. Although its becoming a pattern for him to play poorly on the road especially against good defenses
But I understand what you are saying. I was saying in the chat room that sometimes when I watch him .... he seems like he is overly cautious. Just really takes a long time to pull the trigger on some throws
The Rams came out in shot gun and 4 WRs and very much geared to get after the Panthers in the pass game... I thought the Rams oline held up well in pass protection but he just wasn’t pulling the trigger and when he did he was off. Kupp had like 3 or 4 quick passes on the first 2 series but they were check downs and out of those sets I’m sure he wasn't the primary. It seemed like he just wanted to get the ball out of hands rather than actually read the field and deliver the ball down the field
Anyhow that being said... its 1 game. He's got to play better and next week he’s not facing the same kind of front 7. My guess is he will play much better against the Saints.
