I see it differently, 89.
They have extended star players and they have certainly not been reluctant to sign top FA’s and trade for top players since ‘12.

Plus, Joyner was tagged this year and TruJo the two years before that.
Not to mention that they have star players too young for extension yet, so it’s a little early to criticize them for not extending the youngsters.
To imply that they can’t or won’t retain players due to salary cost seems very inaccurate. They spend right up to the cap annually, in fact.
As to AD’s contract? We don’t even know what we don’t know. For example, what if AD is holding out until after Mack signs? Or is insisting on that rumored deal breaking opt out clause? Or some other unknown thing that we have no way of knowing?
Finally, since when are fans to be kept informed of intimate details in contract negotiations? This thing will get done when it gets done. I recommend that we relax and leave this to the professionals while we enjoy this upcoming camp and season. It looks like it’s gonna be a doozy.
Those guys never got extensions. I said star players. Of your list, MAYBE Brockers constitutes a star. Saffold signed with the Raiders then they backed out. Barron was given a ridiculous deal, Joyner is on the one year franchise tag. I forgot about Robey. I agree on FA signings, they have done great there. I just would like to see some long term deals with with the core players.
