Pace was never as good as he could have been. I guess the bottom line is, wouldn't it be nice to sign him to a long term deal? Because that's really my only point.
Speaking of long term deal...how long will AD be able to play at such a high level? He plays in the trenches where injuries can happen at any time. I hope he stays healthy for his entire career but that is not likely. RB's fall off a cliff at 30 years old. How long do DT's play at the top of their game? Should that play into how much he gets paid? If he plays out his current deal and then we tag him for a year or two, he will be close to 30. Do DT's play well at that age? That's a lot of wear and tear on his body. Will he be the same player in 3 years and worth all that money?
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
