the "give Snead a lesson" is what people say when they run out of argument...or they say "I sure the Rams coaches know more than you!". Those comments shut down discussion and add zero to the board. I know you have added good opinions to the board so this is not necessary. If I misunderstood your post, my bad.
Actually, I like the discussion on 1, 3, 5 gap. I learn from this stuff. People devote lots of time to evaluating film on a pro level and college level. I think we should read / listen. That's what makes the board great.
Finally, B&G didn't make up the discussion on gaps. Scouts continuously make references to players using those terms. If those things didn't matter, you wouldn't have different names for them...why call a DT a NT?
