I can totally relate....been a Ram's fan for 40+ years. I live (and grew up) in AZ, have family in SoCal that we visited every summer. I vaguely remember John Hadl @ QB (blue & white uni's) as my earliest memory of the team....I remember watching Superbowl 14 - thought we were going to win (leading after 3rdQ).
we had a pretty good team in the 80's....dickerson, everett.......Stinkin' Montana had to come along!
the 90's were the worst - we WERE worse than the Browns then!
I have 3 sons, all of whom i have influenced to be Rams fans (somehow)...i often feel guilty about dragging them into this mess.
that being said, I always find a way to convince myself that things will get better next year.
I'm hoping this McVay kid can breathe some life into this team......again, i'm optimistic. the offense cannot get any worse and i think his energy and style can get this thing going!
too late to jump ship now! i'm in this for the long haul!
