That is a common misperception. The Dome opted not to upgrade the stadium, that was their option they were not required to do so, it just triggered another clause that the Rams were then allowed to go year by year on the lease rather than be bound by a 10 year extension.

Stlramz posted that he has emails saying someone told him he would be able to get PSL's if they relocated, it was from years ago.

Also two different "contracts" were used and only one mentions relocation, so this is going to get sticky for sure.

If this gets dragged out the NFL and Kroenke will have egg on their faces. Sadly our Rams will too even though they don't deserve it. ESPN will have a lot of fun with that because this is the type of crap they love to latch onto and make a mess of...........I hate that.

that enabled the Rams to go year to year (and ultimately leave) was the failure to maintain the EJD as an NFL "top quarter" venue, which it surely wasn't long before the end?

Yes, spin it or word it anyway you want.... The CVC failed to live up to their end of the lease by keeping it "top tier" and lost in arbitration which allowed the Rams to become in essence, free agents.

The contract stated that the sole remedy for Rams was relocation.
