Great write up George. I wish I could've been there with you guys. Julian is smiling down on us. GO RAMS!!by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Great report Mark!! I'm glad you got to witness one of the greatest Ram games ever....I wish I could've been there. This championship was a long time coming, 22 years!! Everything fell into place perfectly, and the Rams jumped all over it. GO RAMS and take care brutha!!by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
That was awful!! Just added salt to the wound in this awful loss. Hope all is well Todd!by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
The Oline was pathetic from the first snap. Zero run game and multiple Dlinemen continued to meet at Stafford while only rushing 4. It was like they were going up against the blocking dummies in practice for much of the game. Hopefully those guys take a look at the game tape of this one and get pissed off, as that was an awful performance. I'm not sure of too many QBs that would be able to winby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
He definitely needs to stop making those careless throws inside the 20 BUT he could definitely get some help from McVay there also. His 3rd interception in the Viking game is a prime example. Stafford had just thrown an interception the previous possession, and is obviously having a poor game. The Rams are up 13-3. Michel has been gashing the Vikes to the tune of 7 ypc. Allen has left thby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I was in attendance. It was a Sunday 5:30 night game. One of the weirdest games I've ever seen. Rams won 33-22 despite having a grand total of 7 first downs and only having the ball for 22 minutes and change.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
That's right, I was off by a week. I should've known better as I met my wife on the 15th...by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I was so sure that the Rams were finally going to end the streak against the Whiners, that I put a large bet down on the game. 3 first quarter TD passes to Ike, and they were off and running. The Whiners got close in the 3rd quarter, but Tony Horne's big KO return opened it back up. Rams 42 Whiners 20. And we took a knee inside the Whiner 5 to end the game too. That was an awesome dayby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Whiner country! Lived here all of my life (I just turned 50), and have seen a many of Whiner super bowl victories. These last 5 consecutive losses have been brutal. Here is to hoping that we have a similar game plan that we had against the Jags. Lets bring in some extra OLineman at times and ram it down their throat like they continue to do to us. Maybe we'll have a 3 headed monster at RB,by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't have to look at the total deaths. We have a family friend who was 49, 4 months older than me, who died of COVID a few months back. He left behind 2 teenage kids. My healthy 30 year old brother in law was hospitalized for a couple of weeks and had to roll around a oxygen tank for several months after getting out of the hospital. My wife works with a lady who gathered with her family atby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Yep, and it also shows right at 75K deaths statewide, and we're fast approaching 1 million deaths in this country too.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I'd say that is definitely higher on the list.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
data source: Per the link, from November 20th until the 26th, you'd have been 15.8 times more likely to die of covid if you were unvaccinated versus fully vaccinated in California.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
In other words, the vaccine program has protected no one Considering that well over 90% of COVID related deaths over the last several months came from the unvaccinated, I'd say that I strongly disagree with that statement.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I would think that there could many reasons for hospital workers being laid off...my guess would be lack of COVID infected patients over the last year and a half wouldn't be very high on the list.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not sure how moving games around by a couple days is going to affect the COVID outbreak/issue. The new omicron variant is knocking on the door and it is FOUR times more transmissible than the current Delta variant, which suddenly has seemed to break through the vaccine protection over the last few weeks and is blowing through the NFL. I certainly could be wrong, and I hope I am, but I juby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Oh the overwhelmed hospitals aren't limited to big cities, not even close. The biggest reason for overwhelmed hospitals in pretty much ANY city will be low vaccination rates, just like it was last winter and surely how it will be this upcoming winter.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Can't get a refund on the tix! So you have 3-4 days to resell your tix a week before XMas. And that onsite testing scenario sure seems like its going to be a nightmare. UGHHH!!by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Understanding that you could get this anywhere, including work, my best guess is that this is likely coming from Thanksgiving gatherings of family and friends....of course it only takes one infection to rapidly multiply.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
As long as there are active infections, the virus is going to continue to mutate. With much of our country and other countries that have access to the vaccine, having large chunks of the population not getting it, the virus is going to continue to spread and mutate here/there. More importantly, there are other poorer countries, that don't have access to the vaccines until much later if at allby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
This is getting bad. The Bulls just had TEN players test positive and have had their next 2 games cancelled. This seems like it is only going to get worse once the new variant takes over, which it sounds like it will. Such a bummer. :censoredby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
One puzzling thing about this, is why a change similar to this wasn't made coming off of the bye? This was brought up on the 11 personnel podcast. If we go into the Packer game with a similar mindset, we have a good chance of winning that game. Not sure, why this change took so long...by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
We could've plugged in that paragraph in for most all of the last 5 games against the Whiners. The only game the Rams actually attempted to rush the ball (24 rushes), they won the TOP in 19. A JG pick 6 and an awful performance by the Ram secondary late, caused that loss...the other 4 losses look pretty identical statistically. TOP: Last night: Whiners 39:03 Rams 20:57 2020 Fiby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Its embarrassing!! Living here in Norcal, each loss to the Whiners is equivalent to 2-3 losses to me. This is 5 straight losses to the Whiners now, where it appears that McVay just hasn't adjusted at all on offense in 3 years now, and the defense just continues to get dominated/manhandled time and again. Put simply, McVay has to do better. This is as disappointed as I've been in McVay and tby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
It didn't help that losing Clayton, Cody, and Corey for a large chunk of the year. Also, when a team loses 4 starting pitchers, their prospects diminish for sure. Even with many factors working against them, including the above, they still won 106 games. The biggest problem was the Giants won 107. I think that constantly having to chase the Giants for months on end, plus the extended 5 game sby sacram - Bucky's Pub
I was ok with it. Putting aside the analytics around it (which are real!), remember Julio has thrown way more innings than he ever has in his career. Assuming Scherzer can go in game one, both Walker and Julio would be starting the next two games on normal rest having thrown only 70-75 pitches in their last outings. The biggest thing I didn't understand from the game was why Will called 6 stby sacram - Bucky's Pub
The Rams have the ball around midfield early in the 2nd quarter in a scoreless game and have a 3rd and 5. The Rams get called for a delay of game...not sure why Sean didn't call a timeout there, but THEN on the ensuing 3rd and 10, they immediately run a delay to Henderson, which was probably the first run that the offense had attempted in the previous 9-10 offensive plays. It almost seemed likby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Good looking family representing us well!! That is definitely one of the stadiums I want to get to some day. Glad you got to see a win!by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Another extra pass heavy gameplan against a defense that can't stop the run....lets the play clock run out and THEN he runs the ball on 3rd and 10. Is McVay playing for the punt at midfield? You'd think that they were backed up on their 1 yard lineby sacram - Game Time Forum
