I would speculate that the vast majority of that passer rating differential could be the difference in deep balls and successful screens. Also, when is the last time we hit a crossing route?by rampage666 - RamsFootballFans.com
Hi Mr. Irvin. Thank you for sharing your time with us. Which coverage scheme(s) did you prefer playing and why? Thanks again--wish I could have seen you play. RAMTOUGH Tomby rampage666 - Leroy Irvin Chat
Goff is the REASON we are losing some games. This is very different from carrying the team as Warner says. If Goff can not make the plays and additionally makes massive errors his options need to be reduced. I don't see this as a binary play or sit decision. But if I have an obviously limited QB, I am taking away some plays and reads from that QB. And I will tell the QB that...you are the reasby rampage666 - RamsFootballFans.com
I dont think confidence has anything to do with Goff trying to juke a db and getting stripped while holding the ball with one hand. Or when he tries to fit the ball into Woods who is tightly bracketed. Those are just brain dead plays. I think we have an intelligence and intensity issue. Dude missed plays constantly. He locks on to primary reads--maybe this is McVay, but I bet Goff throws to hiby rampage666 - RamsFootballFans.com
The bucs have deep weapons--good ones in Evans, Godwin, Brown, Gronk. Though I wonder if the high frequency of deep shots is more a function of the lack of a checkdown option. Jones is out of the game in passing situations and Fournette is a bad joke as a receiver and possibly the worst check down option in the league. Does Brady think "I've got a maybe one on one with a strong receiving optby rampage666 - RamsFootballFans.com

From my watching the Rams WRs get good to very good separation consistently. The problem, most often, is the throw.by rampage666 - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks for the post. One player, often overlooked and maligned, who I thought did great in the game was Ebukam. Man that kid holds an edge, and is super physical. Did you notice him? He really stood out to me as winning his 1v1 battles in the run game.by rampage666 - RamsFootballFans.com
Going to review all the Rams pass plays in this debacle. I want to get a feel for the story of the pass game as it developed by tracking coverage, etc. Got some of the first quarter done and will get back to it tomorrow. Wanted to post and see if you guys like it, have suggestions, etc. If you disagree with my thoughts please let me know. I would appreciate a why you think differently with thby rampage666 - RamsFootballFans.com
The Dolphins showed this on film. Its what they did to the Whiners. Nothing new from the Dolphins here.by rampage666 - RamsFootballFans.com
The pressures are not on the line. goff needs to get rid of the ball. maybe mcvay's plays are giving him the opportunity but its scheme or qb .by rampage666 - Game Time Forum
Goff knows where the free rusher is and yet stares down and throws to the other side? No one does this because it doesnt work. You throw to the side of the free rusher because you can see the guy coming. This is grade school bullcrap. And let's not even begin with the lack of accuracy. This makes me sick.by rampage666 - Game Time Forum
I thought Riddick and Griese were going to go at it. Overall, I like the new crew. Arch is good too. He does CBS games. No idea how Harlan and Warner didnt get Monday night. They are awesome on the radioby rampage666 - RamsFootballFans.com
Sucks. He made some plays but he did make some big mistakes vs the Bears that they could not capitalize on. Hope he gets well fast. He's a rook with a very high ceiling imo. Great pick and am still amazed he was there in the third.by rampage666 - RamsFootballFans.com
In the same vein as passer rating looking at a pff grades remember its a super small sample game to game. Goff had three turnover worthy plays vs the bears. That's alot. And on the flip side he didnt get any big time throws or the +2 grade to the 3 -2 turnover worthy throws. Without the opportunities to hit those big time throws--think Russ' moon balls--Goff is never really going to a well grby rampage666 - RamsFootballFans.com

I made the comment in the Henderson for Zeke thread that Jaylon is athletic but is not good because his read/react/recognition skills are subpar. Was watching a video that demonstrates this strongly. I feel you. Don't discount the defense doing what is has versus the opponent in front of them. Bills--slowed allen down in the second half Dallas--slowed Dak down all game-but their coaching left alot to be desired Eagles--Wentz has limited weapons but see how he performed vs the Steelers Giants--Im by no means saying Jones is good, but he played an efficient very low risk game and is dangeby rampage666 - RamsFootballFans.com
Hebert is super calm. That td play was ridiculous. He's a nice player right now. I wasnt a big fan of his out of college--loved his traits--but he always underwhelmed me. If he can continue finding the right places to put the ball look out. He could be top ten QB easy.by rampage666 - RamsFootballFans.com
Did a thorough watch of the first half defense vs the Giants. Since it takes me a while to get through it I thought I'd post what I have so far. Just a half so small sample size. Our coverages are difficult to decipher. We are very heavy in zone(75% in 1st half) use but that zone has some man principles to it as well. For example, zone typically covers and area while man covers a specific recby rampage666 - RamsFootballFans.com
