Maybe they can keep him on as a consultant in lieu of coming out of retirement. If McVay leaves and decides to come out of retirement for another team—ehem, the Niners—then the Rams need to receive a king’s ransom of picks to open that prospect up.by Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com
I was going to reply with this post to MamaRama above in lieu of body language. I watched the local channel 7 ABC affiliate “Sean McVay” show (hosted by Kurt Sandoval) and McVay looks like a zombie. It’s not the usual McVay. He certainly doesn’t look jovial. He doesn’t look ticked off. He looks numb. That’s impossibly good news considering where he’s come from to get there. I don’t want to jinx it but his outcome looks optimistic. Maybe too early to talk about ball in this context, but it’ll be interesting to see how the Bills players respond come game time on Sunday. Do they lay an egg or do they rout the Patriots? Benefits from this most incredible series of bowl games. Now watch Georgia vs. TCU be a total clunker at Sofi. But it won’t matter. This is why we watch and love the game. It’s certainly rekindled my love affair with football.by Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com

The only quality opponents they’ve played are the Chargers and the Dolphins. They had a bye before playing the Chargers. Final score was 22-16. If I recall, the Chargers had some injuries. The Dolphins were driving to go up in the fourth quarter but had a poor spot IMO on a fourth down try which changed the tenor of the game. They’ve had a ton of lucky bounces in the meantime. I have problems awarding that call to Michigan on a narrative level. They muff the snap on that play and when they finally gain possession in order to make a football play, they get stopped behind the line of scrimmage—the play is a fourth down, they surrender possession. To get awarded another set of downs when they failed to execute a first down on the most critical offensive play of the gaby Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com
