Who do you think provided the coverage that kept the ball in Wilson's hands? More than just LaMarcus but he was critical. Our Earl.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
We are playing very well. Seattle is a great team. Long game. We need to maximize every opportunity we have. Seahwawks are veterans and we are rookies.by cool_hand_luke - Game Time Forum
I've been watching Seahawks games and Joekel and Pocic are the weak links. Pocic gets beat by power, strength consistently. And Joekel is amazing stiff, non agile. Fwiw.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
I have been going through the Seahawks and Jaguars film. The Seattle oline is very inconsistent. The last drive of the first half they looked excellent--executing difficult run blocks again and again. However, pass blocking and most the time the run blocking is not good. The key to me is matching Donald on Joekel. Joekel does not have any tools to in any way slow down Donald. Joekel isby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Agreed. The number of uncalled offensive holding and hands to the face penalties was easily in the teens. Mind boggling.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Obviously the wr makes a difference in drops. But how much credit do you give to Goff--ball placement, and coaching--scheming guys open, etc.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Teams evolve through the year. Are the Rams the same team now as they were in weeks 1-4? Certainly not imo, the defense is substantially different at a minimum. Homefield advantage is not taken into account, nor is the difference in a team after a bye, after a loss, etc. For example, the Vikings have all of their wins vs playoff teams at home except one. Home Wins: Saints Ravens?by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
I am concerned about Whit handling quickness. He can stop an outside rush, but he looks very stiff adjusting to a rusher's change in positioning. For example, faking outside than going inside. He adjusts slowly to the change in direction. Frank Clark is excellent at this type of fake action. This matchup could determine the game. If Whit can't handle Clark the majority of the time we doby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
I definitely agree with that statement. The closest thing I have designed in the read option w Russell keeping the ball. They ran this a few times in the Eagles game, Russell kept the ball on the first play. One other note, I think Russell is genuine. He is a very special dude. I have not met him but do some research on him, and I think you will change your opinion that he is a phony.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Wanted to add some input to this thread regarding the Seattle Offense and Russell Wilson. A little background, I am currently building a new way of reporting on NFL stats--a dynamic to the user system. So, I am going through games and logging data on each play. This is very time consuming but I just finished the Seattle Philly game. Russell is a simply excellent quarterback in all areas ofby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Hope all are well. I am searcing for an interview from a couple/few years ago--after LaMarcus was on the Rams. At least 10-15 minutes in length, where he discussed his childhood and how he grew up Have been doing my due diligence with the Google, but not having any success. So, I though I would see if anyone could find it faster. Thanks and enjoy the below,by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
From my listening, Chris considered the processing of information into a playcall a key skill for QB play. McVay removing that responsiblity from Goff is what Chris did not like. If in fact, that is what McVay is doing.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
The issue, as I see it, is general information vs a specific change in play call. If McVay is 'processing' all the available on field information and giving Goff a new playcall this is bad. Legal, as I understand the rules, but very destructive to Goff's development. If McVay is providing reminders, and key points to focus on which then assists Goff in changing a play call then I think it is fiby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
This is a post about how the Rams ended the game vs the Saints mixed in with some theory on running the clock. Very curious what everyone thinks about this topic as I think this is a very poorly handled situation throughout the NFL historically. Given a team has a lead, ie. the Rams with a six point lead vs the Saints, and time is short. Time is the most valuable resource for both teams. Aby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com

Game 1 vs Colts Q3 7:23 Insane play and catch.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
From my experience the fastest players find there way to offense. Two way in high school, then offense usually in college. Perhaps the defensive players catching the offensive is due to angles, and other non pure speed related factors.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
I find this line of thinking ridiculous. As with any complex problem--there is no single answer, but a combination of several to many factors that are the cause. The offensive explosion is a result of many changes: Massively improved coaching, play design, and play calling Improved play from the offensive line Improved play from the QB Improved play from the WRs and TEs--are we droppingby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
I live there. Seattle defense is next level--Earl, Bobby, etc. We need to play mistake free and deal well with the crowd. We beat them in Seattle we earned it. Road game in Seattle is a massive challenge. We need to lock the division away before that game.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com

I am not concerned. Once the game slows down for him, his natural catching ability will take over again. I am confident he will be fine. Don't disregard the change in the level of competition, system, surrounding players, lifestyle, etc he is experiencing.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Curious if Brian Quick had McVay, Sammy, Robert and Kuuuuuuuuupp as mentors if his career would have turned out differently. What do you guys think?by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Completely agree. Can't wait for the day we get to see all the players during a play--instead of qbs all the time.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
