Haven't had a chance to re-watch the game, but I feel like 166 rushing years on 32 carries for a 5.2 yd average is outstanding and Goff was only sacked once while hanging onto the ball way too long. I've subscribed to profootballfocus to supplement what I can't see on the field, but something has to be seriously wrong with their methods if we ran the ball that well while getting such poor gradby WarnerWagoner - RamsFootballFans.com
He ranks 15th in run blocking and 28th on pass blocking according to PFF, for an overall ranking of 19th best TE in the league with that receiving ability included in.....my guess is they prioritize his affect on the running game much more than the receiving yards we tend to prioritizeby WarnerWagoner - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks man, been a long time lurker on this board. It's been especially therapeutic coming here to sort through the turmoil of the last few seasons listening in on this wide range of quality posters. Was thinking I have to throw my two cents in more often, so much appreciated .....and just as you mention Tavon, appears he's gonna miss the rest of OTA's with wrist surgery. Everyone likes to throw GRob under the bus, but fact is in the two games he sat last year we put up 247 net yards (178 passing, allowing 3 sacks and 3 turnovers) and 177 net yards (78 yards passing and 4 sacks allowed). These were against the lowly Saints and 49ers defenses respectively. Taking GRob out of the lineup didn't magically fix our offense. First off, my first post after becoming addicted to this board for 4-5 years because of posts like these. Insights like these add so much to the downtime of an NFL season. Much appreciated I'd like to add a couple players to the undervalued: CB- Howard Wilson (Houston) seems like a player undervalued for reasons I can't quite comprehend. Maybe its the fact that he left two years early or thby WarnerWagoner - RamsFootballFans.com
