Haven't had a chance to re-watch the game, but I feel like 166 rushing years on 32 carries for a 5.2 yd average is outstanding and Goff was only sacked once while hanging onto the ball way too long.
I've subscribed to profootballfocus to supplement what I can't see on the field, but something has to be seriously wrong with their methods if we ran the ball that well while getting such poor grades. Only one lineman had a run blocking grade above 60 (Whitworth with 62.3), and 3 of the other 4 had run blocking grades below 50 (Allen- 40.0, Noteboom 41.9, and Havenstein- 45.2)......I only remember a few runs by Brown where numerous tackles were broken
Any insights on our O-line? Specifically the new starters. I thought B. Allen looked surprisingly good pulling out in space on a few of Gurley's outside runs
