QuoteLos Angeles Lenny Goff Jersey's by the year 2020. RFIP will have both home and away. And YOU know better too!! :thumbsupby RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills The sinking ship part is over the top :thumbsup Over the top? All I'm saying is IF Goff goes sideways there is NO CHANCE of McVay going down with him. He should and WILL get his QB in here next.by RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
Oh he "might" have been good enought o start the next 5 years for Fisher, in fact I'd almost assuredly bet THAT way if JF was still the coach. But NO CHANCE of McVay going down with the Goff ship if he doesn't correct his course ASAP. So your asking AS OF TODAY and in that regard I have given my answer. What I've seen this PS has been just "ok" with some big concerns.by RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills I'm saying make a play. The DB did and he didn't. Well the LB's job was to make it incomplete, which he did. Catching that contested ball was another animal. I mean in the end with the PI they got it right we're they would have had he caught it. BUT if the pass was better it was six.by RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills The ball hit him in the gut. Snatch that thing and make a play!!!! You see the LB get his arm in and make contact right? Lol it was far from a drop. Someone has to be able to post the video or at least a pic!by RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills I think Higbee should have made that play for his QB. Make a play Higbee ... do something. Higbee needs to make that play But you need to watch that play again. He wins right off the snap and a good throw is a TD. Ball is underthrown allowing the LB to make contact. If thrown out in front it's an uncontested catch and TD.by RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
To me to call that a drop on Hibee is a stretch, If he leads him it's 6 just as Fouts said, it was underthrown allowing the LB to recover and get his arm in on the throw. Also on the play he doesn't see Woods underneath for an easy TD, Watch the replay FACING Goff. It shows him looking Higbee's way at the snap but then he looks to his right were Woods is but quickly turns back left and throwsby RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
..you and I both know you are a fan, or at least were. :) and I got the laundry to prove it my friend!by RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteTonyHunter87 Some on here ( not you ) react as though he was a great back that the Rams let go. To me guys like him are a dime a dozen. Just my opinion of course. Because I never thought he was a great player but I very much liked him as a Swiss Army knife who played well no matter his role.by RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams_81 In just a few preseason games I have seen more potential from Davis than I saw I. 4 seasons from Cunningham. Will he be able to do,all the other things well like Cunningham is the question as he was a reliable blocker that did the little things well. But as for as making game changing plays which you want from a number 1 or number 2 back, Davis wins in landslide. Remember Cunninby RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 And so could some other projected starters. Watkins needs to be integrated into this O asap and that only comes with snaps with Goff. Hav and Brown need work, too. I was hoping for better play vs the Chargers. If I had seen better play I would feel differently. Hope McVay reconsiders and gives these guys some quality snaps. I think that they will then be better preparedby RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRam Fan Teacher Isn't that good though? He knows what he did wrong and can work on correcting it. That's how getting better at something starts. You have to know you have a problem. "Hello, my name is Jared and I can't feel the pressure." Now let's give him some time to get better. Again MY point is WHY can he feel it on his back side and NOT his front side? Also, thatby RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteleafnose one I can lose and not feel poorly over RFIP I, for one, send him out there and just run some plays in Green Bay. and, good or bad, let the kid get those snaps, reps, whatevers that lead to familiarity with looking over defenses; where's the safety, is there a blitz, what are they showing, pre-snap reads, go to the audible.....all of it. think you have to take a couple moreby RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteleafnose the writer says this was Goff's final preseason work? Can't imagine that Sean would sit Goff on Thursday. He could, but this isn't a team that can afford to take a 2 week layoff without facing some competition. To me, the kid needs to take a few more series; if nothing more than to wash the poor outing of the memory banks Also, would like to see Watkins and the kid get some sby RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteleafnose extremely happy with his work I guess I am suppose to temper my thrill factor with the scrub quotient, but he has consistently been an exciting component to the offense later in games. Brown is showing an ability to break free, and more agility. Not sure where Green fits as of now. What I liked about Davis last night was early on the Chargers were pulling and tugging at theby RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteGreatRamNTheSky QuoteNewMexicoRam Good thing he gave up on basketball. The open receiver wasn't even in line with the sun, so that should not have blocked his vision of the open receiver. Guess that's a play to work on some more. I've seen the same thing before from more veteran QBs who very well regarded in their careers. I would venture to say that there has never ever been a QBby RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteden-the-coach QuoteL.A.Rams During 50 years of following the Rams, I have had a pretty good track record of objectively evaluating QBs on the basis of their performance on the field, which is of course all that a fan has to go by. I have now seen enough of Goff. He can't play. WOW! I'm not so sure, granted the two mistakes are on him, but he has showcased growth over last year and befoby RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
(On if the interception was intended for WR Robert Woods) “It was to (WR) Sammy (Watkins). I felt someone coming down my throat a little bit and I have to stand in there and throw it.” I've said it on both his PS sacks, both were front side and it appears he neither saw nor felt either. On the pick last night intended for a wide open Watkins he says "I felt someone coming down my throaby RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotelaram This pic is scary. It's one thing to miss a guy who is open to one side or the other but to miss him on a walk in TD when he's right in front of you and your taught to read read-to-low?by RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
..so close to HIS goal line!!!! :lol3by RFIP - Game Time Forum
Quotelaram But it came right on the heels of Goff struggling, I guess you disagree with the HOF qb too! On THAT drive what is there to disagree WITH? Goff stayed in, they ran it in to the red zone giving him time to settle back down, then he missed badly followed by a check down.by RFIP - Game Time Forum
It wasn't like they went 3 & out, 3 & out and 3 & out. They ran it right down the Chargers throats and set Goff up nicely in the red zone where he missed Higbee badly then checked it down on 3rd and ten. I had no issue with the play calling on THAT drive.by RFIP - Game Time Forum
No way no how anyone but Goff gets the majority of playing time starting week one. Mannion is no factor this season barring injury. Not even worth discussing.by RFIP - Game Time Forum
Quotemax I don't know why he pulled the starting OL. It looked to me like he pulled the left side but left the right side in?by RFIP - Game Time Forum
QuoteSpeed_Kills That he said TOs aren't conducive to winning football and would have said that had the Rams WRs or RBs had TOs that led to a 21-0 lead Quotemax I got the impression he put most of the blame on Goff. I think you better watch that interview again and this time look at McVay's eyes when he's talking.by RFIP - Game Time Forum
When he's good he's good but when he's bad...by RFIP - Game Time Forum
Quotemax I got the impression he put most of the blame on Goff. Impression??? He DID JUST THAT! It's clear to me if Goff doesn't improve drastically that McVay ain't going down with that ship!by RFIP - Game Time Forum
