Hard to argue that he might play or he might not play. Also if the starter doesn't play perhaps his backups might play.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I think they send scouts to lot of games. And they should. Of course everyone crunches tape, but sometimes they grade out better in person.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Well thought out article. Poorly written. Here's my thoughts...Glad everyone is so high on AR coming into the season. I am somewhat skeptical about him. But, because CK will need double and triple teaming, he should get a lot of one on one opportunities. Call it the offensive AD effect. Tutu is definitely on the upswing. He had a lousy rookie year. And yet, he is doing everything right this year.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Fun listen. Yep. BW will be a minor factor and we don't talk enough about him.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
BW plays 93 percent of the time. If he has a weakness in coverage he wouldn't be in on third downs. He doesn't have any weaknesses. He's the best in the NFL and will go to the HOF. Gervase was competing against the backup ILBs. He's not coming in over BW or EJ without injuries. He will be in on kickoffs and punts.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
How do you know that Tutu can't block? I know he is undersized but a lot of it is pure will and technique. He has been following Kupp around and Kupp is an excellent blocker. So maybe he is putting the tine in and could be decent at it. I certainly wouldn't expect him to take on a DT, but he probably could push a DB long enough for a runner to get by. I am not stating that he CAN block. I just dby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com

Young corners? Stafford licks his lips.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Happy for these guys, but I see a lot of maneuvering of the squad over the next two weeks. Really impressed with McCutcheon and Thomas. It will be interesting to see what happens with Harris. He definitely has great athleticism and he has suffered injuries and bouncing back and forth between the TE room and WR rooms probably only confused him. I hope he makes it to the practice squad because heby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com

Right? What is soft tissue? Which tissue? Weird that they are coming up with new ailments. Is it a knee? A shoulder? An ankle? A head? What happened to regular problems? What are the treatments for soft tissue? Surgery? Therapy, ultrasound, rest, ice, heat? And how long does soft tissue last? A month? A week? A day?by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Most important info is we will find out about cuts tomorrow.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I think this is close. Couple of things...I will be shocked if the Rams cut Wolford. I still think they keep all 3, but if it's 2 it's Staff and Wolf. If I keep 3 Yeast gets cut. The RBs should be 1. Hendu 2. Akers 3. Williams 4. Drake (FA signing) They have to keep 4 backs given the injuries we have seen with them. Funk has been a disappointment in the backfield but is an excellent tby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com

What is wrong with Akers?by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Nice post as always. I have to disagree about Perkins. I don't see him getting to his second read. He might be quicker to getting to his first read but his delivery is slow and no punch on it. If his first read is covered he runs. And he runs well against back ups. Not enough. I cut him and try to keep him on the PS. If he get poached? That's okay. The poacher is then exposing someone on theirby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
We weren't trying to win. The goal was to not get injured. We didn't call any timeouts even near midfield with a minute left. If we throw a Hail Mary and win a onside kick to get the FG we could tie the game. Nope. McVay couldn't care less. It was a fake game. He has 20 real games he wants to win coming up.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com

He looked very good. Only guy pushing his target all over the field.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
This guy is completely insane. He has it all and still would risk everything to play another season. Why? He hasn't won enough rings? Not made enough money? He can't find a hottie to marry? What is his frickin' problem? I have to tell you that we are all sick of his stupid face. We don't want to watch him play any more. I don't want to hear his voice. Those teams might have better #2s but they don't have a Stafford who is a superstar and highly paid. The Niners have Trey Lance and are trying to trade Crapola. Who are these other guys? What are they paid? Could they run our scheme? Could we have afforded them when they were available? Are they really breed than the Wolf? If you're thinking yes, based on what? McSnead constantly searches toby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
With VJ out Tutu is likely to be a starter...CK, ARob, Tutu. With VJ he is rotating in at #4. SKOW and Harris is behind him. McCutcheon is as well. Powell and Trammel too. VJ is coming off knee surgery. OBJ is too and is not a member of the team. We aren't really that deep here.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes, it would be very surprising to trade Tutu. He was our top pick last year and is playing great in TC. Also, he represents a speed option with good ball tracking skills which our other guys can't do. Why would we trade him? Fir what? And when we play against him in the future who will cover him?by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
We have superstars and unknowns. Stafford, Kupp, ARob, Wagner, Ramsey, Floyd, AD-best in NFL. Havs and Gay probably are too. All our other starters should be solid to very good. We have decent backups at many spots, but not everywhere. And we are very green. The talent is there, but rookies make mistakes. We don't want to see them this year.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay said Hendu will practice this week and that he is full speed. Kierin is full speed and practicing. Akers should be back before the real games begin. If these three are healthy we should be fine for the Bills. The real question is do we trust Funk at #4? The answer should be no. He really doesn't show much. So, after game one I can see us pick up a bigger back for goal line runs. Maybe Malcby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
It won't happen at all under McVay. Not only is he benching his starters and key back ups but he runs the most vanilla offense ever in these fake games. It was startling that we win one this season. We had lost all of them played under McVay previously. We lost 'em all last season and won the SB. Therefore since these "games" are designed to only evaluate the extreme depth of the team tby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Couple of things. One, watching a Perkins complete passes against 2s and 3s is not the same as doing it against an elite defense. Also, both Wolf and Perk know this system. Bringing in an outsider, he would have to learn everything we try to do. Plus good backups make money. Wolf is a great deal especially if he's never needed. We could blow the rest of our cap to maybe slightly upgrade the positby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
