Good stats but they don't tell the whole story. Sacks are the most cited defensive stat for a DL, but hurries and hits are important too. I think GG has a big game today.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Depends on what they can get for him. RBs don't last long and he's been hurt a lot. If we offered a first they would probably take it. But, he also is making big $. So, even if we did a deal it'd be late in the season.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Let's hope Stafford did too!by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
McClutch came out of nowhere to make this team. He is behind CK, AR and VJ. Those guys are starters. He is behind SKOW (vet who played in a big program at ND), Tutu, a second year player who led the ACC in scoring and was a second round pick, Powell, another vet and our best returner and Harris, a second year player with unusual size and speed who is a plus STs player. With VJ out, everybody moveby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I loved his one big block which sprang Hendu for a big gain and he snagged some easy short catches. He looks like a TE more to me than a WR. And we need that too. If he can be a FB/TE/HB I will love it. But, he looked terrible on the deep try. He should never go deep, because that is not his strength. With him in its more like a 21 formation and notby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't see us trading for SB. He would cost a lot in trade and he has a huge salary. If we do go after another RB I think it will be similar to the Sony pickup last season.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I think almost zero, but I would love it.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Completely true. Obviously it's up to McVay how he uses his weapons. What frustrates me is that with VJ out and OBJ unsigned it looks like the right time to utilize last year's second round pick. Or, maybe see if McClutch can make those downfield grabs in real games. It has become the SKOW show. And so far, it hasn't worked.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
That's just it. He looked so good in PS that he forced his way onto the 53, but that doesn't mean he's ready to go into game action and make a difference here. Our WR room is deep. Not as much as before with OBJ and VJ out. But, few other teams have a 1-2 punch like CK and AR. SKOW played last year in the big game. Tutu did not. It makes sense that they would try to give the guy with more experby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com

Hoping we don't draft him.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think any of the guys you mentioned could hold a stick to a healthy VJ. But, the little man you didn't mention has the talent to be an upgrade. Key word is talent. Also, it could easily be so that we just re-sign OBJ and teams would have to cover CK, AR and OBJ. Who has 3 defenders to match up with this trio? Nobody. Then, the small omission and VJ could be #4 or #5. And sure, there's lby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Hey, yeah, if he doesn't make it he doesn't make it. But, I would hate for him to never get a chance here, get cut or traded for a late round throwaway pick and then go somewhere and become a star. That would really suck. And you're right about if just missing on picks before. Trading out of the Wagner spot to take Isiah Pead was really bad. But, most of the time with this GM and HC the players tby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I am not so enamored with SKOW. He is big and can block but I don't see him as much of a pass catcher. I think I'd rather see Blanton as the second TE or Tutu as the third WR who can use his speed to move defenses around. I haven't seen SKOW beat LBs. I know he can't track a deep pass. I have seen him make great blocks and totally miss them. He seems very average to me.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Uhh, Harris versus Tutu? That is an interesting argument. Here's my two cents. Inflation 3 cents. You're right. Harris is bigger, stronger, has a better catch radius and is nearly as fast. But, he has almost experience as a wide receiver. Tutu was the best pass catcher in the ACC and has terrific hands plus the ability to track balls down the field. So while they can both get down the field rapby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
This is going to be a very unpopular post. This is my last ditch effort to bail out my little friend, Tutu Atwell. It is time. I don't want to see long passes to SKOW. He can't catch them. He can try to be a FB/TE/WR whatever. But, let's see what our fastest WR can do. Run him in motion so he can get pre-snap separation. Bunch him in trips on one side and let him run up the field. Stafford hadn't thrown 7 interceptions. He's throw 5. Still horrendous, but 2 fewer than 5? Writers proofread these articles before hitting the SEND button. They are full of typos, wrong words and incorrect stats. I'm just about ready to quit reading them. We all should. Okay, we can't. We're fanatics. But, it does take away from the joy of reading this stuff. Takes another 30 seconds.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
You know, the Rams and Cardinals' roster are different than when they last played. It seems really weird that so much emphasis is placed upon last season's results. Did the Super Bowl banners and opening at home help them against the Bills? Nope. Falcons? Nope. Sure, I like our chances Sunday against the Cards, but they should be jacked to play the defending World Champs in a divisional game befby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Let's start with the article itself. Here is one sentence which makes no sense... The Los Angeles Rams will never every wide receiver they can get and need to have Odell Beckham Jr. I'm guessing the fifth word should be "need." So far as content is concerned I am concerned. First, VJ was supposed to ready to play week one. He didn't. We all believed he would suit up week twoby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com

We were pretty lucky last year with the injuries. And, that's the biggest key to winning all the marbles is to have the best of the rest after a bunch of your warriors go down. We lost Woods but picked up OBJ. We lost Akers but picked up Michel. Our OL and DL stayed mostly healthy. Our QB played all the way through. Kupp played in all 20. I was never that impressed with Akers. Dude has a lot of good press when he was drafted by the Rams, but he never really has shown he's a number one running back. When we got TG30 you could see the speed, the power, the moves. He could run over you and around you and by you. And if you had his dead to rights he'd hurdle you. Never saw anything like that in Akers. Now, it's probably unfair to coby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Granted, they had to face the Chiefs and Raiders, who explosive offenses, but Arizona’s defense has not looked very good through two weeks. Let me guess, the ninth word was meant to be "two"? Also, he stated that our Rams are 10-1 against the Cards. There was one game that was close, but the 8 others were one-sided. There should be 9 others. 10-1=9. Right?
