Quotepromomasterj Free agents come and go and they just keep chugging away while teams like the Dolphins pay ridiculous money to a DT .... Um...yeah...about that....:)by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Agreed. You have to wonder how many rookie/young players Wade would want as starters. If we release Barron that would be 3 or 4 starting LB's with 1 or less years of experience. (Pending free agent signings)by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think we'll use our cap space from now on to concentrate on keeping our own, I don't expect a "headline" free agent. That said, I think we'll sign an young, experienced ILB. Todd Davis from Denver is a definite possibility. I also predict a second tier TE.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
If it were up to me I'd go OL. But at this point I think the team goes rush OLB. Wade needs his Von Miller. It looks like most of the LT's are second round guys, I wouldn't be shocked to see us make a move to get back into the 2nd round.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Agree on both Brown & Vander esch. But I read somewhere that Brown wants to be paid like a top 3 ILB and I'm not sure we can do that considering the other large contracts we're likely to be handing out this offseason.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm 100% feeling Barwin will be back. He knows the defense, and that's going to be important with as many new defensive players we are likely to have, and he's a big time influence in the locker room and on the sideline.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Assuming it's a tag and trade on Watkins, and that we still have our #1 after the Peters trade.... I make the trade without any second thoughts. I like Watkins, I don't mind if we keep him, but it appears to me that unless he's the focus of the passing game his mind wanders. With Woods, Kupp, Gurley and McVay claiming he wants more TE receptions, that leave Watkins pretty much out in the cby 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotedzrams NOTABLE OUTGOING FREE AGENTS Trumaine Johnson - Wants elite CB money but isn’t elite. Also, he’s not a Wade Philips press CB. Do we know that Tru wants to be paid like an elite? He's already made an absurd amount of money these past two seasons, so unless he has a bad accountant he should be pretty well set for cash. We know he was tagged the first time in a desperate movby 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Agreed. No way should he be paid over 9 mill, if even that.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
I like to shy away from TD's as a stat just because that's as much play calling as talent. However, Watkins value as a downfield blocker always seems to be overlooked. It seems like on every Gurley long run there was Sammy taking on a defender..by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
I suspect they interview him as much to get names as to who his staff would be so they can court them.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
I mentioned these two in another post, but I'll mention them again in case Snead is reading this. :) Mason Foster - ILB - age 28 - Redskins (played for Joe Barry when he was there). Stud when he was in Tampa, play fell off in Washington. A 3 down ILB. Currently rehabbing a torn Labrum. Phil Taylor - NT - age 29 - Redskins. Underachieving and oft injured wide body. Does he keep Spags as his DC?by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Jim Schwartz, Eagles DC who coached with the Titans for 9 years. QuoteRam_Ruler Is hard enough finding a coach. Now all of the top candidates are out of it. They're gonna have to really dig to find a playoff caliber coach IMOby 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Stands to reason that if every college team has 2 CB's (or a FS that can move outside) but only one LT, odds are you'll have a better chance at finding CB's later in the draft or as free agents. Throw in the thought that, and I lack proof, smaller college programs probably produce more NFL DB's than LT's. My 2-cents: WR: I have no feeling about Watkins. He seems to be a little like Britt without the baggage: tons of talent, mind isn't in the game. As a deep threat target we can probably fill that role with Reynolds or Thomas if he wants too much money. It is, however, time to move-on from Tav-on. TE: I'm willing to roll with who we have and hope they develop. We invested a # and a 4 inby 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Easley is a free agent. I just can't see them re-signing him. Longacre was a solid fill in for Quinn and I have to think they will consider that when contemplating Quinn's future.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Hard to say without knowing what was going on behind the scenes. Did he go pass heavy because the turf was making a ground game impossible? Were all those unproductive passes to Gurley in the flat by design or check down? Were the unsuccessful because of the turf? Why didn't we challenge the endzone in the 2 minute drill instead of that (ultimately incomplete) swing pass to Gurley? Why didby 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
And that possession saw McVay give his tired defense a rest by promptly dialing up 3 passes in a row, the first two being incompletions. I love McVay, but sometimes he thinks too much like an OC and not enough like a coach of the entire team.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
That's important. He may not want to move his kids again, especially if they're happy in school.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
About the same as he did for us last year: 48 tackles, 1 INT, 3 forced fumbles. 4 games missed to injuryby 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
