the Saints have one big receiving weapon...Michael Thomas. I think the stop the run strategy is the right move.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
15 as the high...6 as the low. I don't think they'll move it for that.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
We add something off the edge, and I think this defense improves vastly. Tell me if I'm imagining it but hasn't this defense played somewhat better since Fowler arrived?by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
makes everything work better... The Cowboys were completely confused. Everything worked...Jet Sweeps, play action...because we actually ran the ball with success. I remember Cooks Jet Sweep...the Cowboys literally didn't know he had the ball until he turned the corner.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
take his whole body of work, applaud it, yet be critical of his play since the bye? I think Goff has done fine...I'm not putting him at 8 but I think he is very close to top 10. That said, he has not been the Goff of pre Bye week. I don't think you can watch any of the games and say he is there. That's why I think it's important for McVay to take it into consideration...and I think he hasby jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
how many rookies can you afford to start? Realistically? And, if you do nothing for the offense, it's my belief that standing pat means you will do one thing...regress. If we can't get CJ Anderson, I wouldn't object to a day 3 pick at RB.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
That won't make it cheap but they do have the advantage... 1) Winning team in position to challenge for Super Bowl 2) Young 3) Head Coach people want to play for That should put them near the top of the list for these guys.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com

Why would you spend the money on him. Reynolds has earned his spot. There is another position on offense that needs fixing... Otherwise, we need to find a run stuffing LB, DE, CB...in addition to keep fill other voids that will come with cuts...like Joyner, Barron...possibly Suh. I could actually see them keeping Suh for one more year. You can only create and fill so many holes in aby jemach - RamsFootballFans.com

I'll admit...I would have bet the house we wouldn't get 200+ yards on the ground, as would have any knowledgeable analyst of the game. But...that is why they play the game. And the reality...it was more the OL than RBs. The holes were massive.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
Arizona and San Fran are pushovers. The o line played its best game of the year. But you knew we could run for 273. What a genius! How did you figure it out? And my point still stands...Gurley had a good game...and we won. That was the bottom line.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
On Twitter and elsewhere. Seems to be contagious.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
it was all about Gurley. And it was...we just didn't know Anderson would be equally effective. I said last week, if Gurley has a good game, we win. Thanks for listening Seanie.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
Teams are taking away the deep ball on the Rams. The underneath stuff is there...we should take it. That's another reason why we need to increase the amount of times we attack the middle of the field.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
Just a feeling...by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams can't draft any higher than 30. If they win (when they win), it will be 31st or 32nd. If they lose, they will placed after the loser of the Chiefs/Patriots game. They last time I remember drafting this late was due to the fact we received 1st rounders from other teams in trades. 1. Cardinals 3-13 2. 49ers 4-12 3. Jets 4-12 4. Raiders 4-12 5. Buccaneers 5-11 6by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
against the Cowboys. I was pleasantly surprised. When I say middle of the field, I mean between the hashes. He need to keep it up this week against the Saints. It keeps those MLBs honest. The Patriots feast in that area with regularity.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
That's KC. The ran about 40% of the time. The Rams, Patriots and Saints all run the ball 44% or more of the time. IMO, you have to run the ball that much to be successful. Most all teams, KC being the exception, with low 400s or high 300s in rush attempts are losers. The balance seems to be around 55-45...which is up...since just a few years ago I recall it was about 52-48.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
Not I. The Rams can use a similar game plan against the Saints and end up passing more than running. The stats bear it out. Dedicating yourself to the run game doesn't mean running more than passing. The Rams averaged almost 29 rushes a game this season. Of the 4 remaining teams, only one - Kansas City runs the ball less than 29 times a game. The Rams ran the ball 44% of the time. We were moving their D line all night. Plus, it's become common place to go for it on 4th down in the NFL. Heck, how many times did KC go for it on 4th down yesterday? Not taking anything away from McVay...but I didn't view it as a "ballsy" call. To me...simple...go for it. The league has changed...I think Bellichick had something to do with too.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
But that's ok. What you are saying is the Rams can't run against the Bears period? I beg to differ. I wonder what the Bears are doing today?by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
lol.. By the way, I kept myself from posting on the Game Time board last night. I'm superstitious!!!by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
I wouldn't be happy if I were a Cowboys fan either. But...it was the right call...period...and should have been called. That call was easy..simple...black and white.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
Kroenke as owner? Replace Demoff as President? Replace Snead as GM? Keeper McVay as HC? Keeper Just my opinion...and yes...there is bias. We is loaded on O for next year, assuming Kupp comes back 100%, as expected. Goff, Cooks, Woods, Kupp, Gurley, CJ (I hope), Higbee, Everett, Reynolds. There will be quality O weapons that McVay can’t even get on the field. The pitiful O of 2016 is justby jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams planned on running against the Cowboys. That was absolutely clear. They did not plan running against the Bears. That was absolutely clear. First, Gurley was hurt...well is hurt. Second, we didn't have Anderson. My bet is you see a lot of 1-2 with Gurley and Anderson. Goff is not a QB that can put a team on his shoulders and win a game...not at this time.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
I just wonder...did Gurley's situation kind of force him there. We (many on this board) have been wanting the Rams to run the ball more. The Rams prepped to run the ball and executed it beautifully. The key...they "prepped" to run. Let's hope they take that attitude next week.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
