Not I. The Rams can use a similar game plan against the Saints and end up passing more than running. The stats bear it out.
Dedicating yourself to the run game doesn't mean running more than passing. The Rams averaged almost 29 rushes a game this season. Of the 4 remaining teams, only one - Kansas City runs the ball less than 29 times a game.
The Rams ran the ball 44% of the time. That seems reasonable to me in today's game.
11 rushes is not an attempt to rush the ball.
Now, in hind sight, maybe the Rams couldn't run because Gurley (as we later found out) and Brown were injured.
As for Goff, Goff is not playing as QB who can carry a team. Goff is better off being a game manager right now...maybe a grade above game manager.
Run...pass but don't ask Goff to carry the load...unless something magical happens this week during practice.
