First of all Godwin was supposedly rated higher than Stewart, but that's not the key. Stewart was taken by a wr needy team, so he will play right away. Godwin was taken by a team that doesn't need receivers. He would be the 4th receiver there at BEST. So essentially they took a flyer on him with no exposure to their roster because they're covered. He's a JAG man, they're just hopinby laram - RamsFootballFans.com

I just went and watched some of his tape and he is a match-up nightmare. He can out-run safeties or linebackers and forces defenses to mix and match their coverages. Smooth fluid and physical athlete with good hands. Looks like an overgrown wide receiver, great open field runner with some wiggle. I can see a lot of Jordan Reed in him in how versatile he is across formations. I LIKEby laram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteDeadpool First my tidbit in my mock draft on the TE situation: The prospects they have visited in some shape or form: OJ Howard 6'-6" 251 lbs. (1st round) Evan Engram 6'-3" 234 lbs. (Late 1st, early 2nd) Gerald Everett 6'-3" 239 lbs. (Late 2nd, to 3rd) George Kittle 6'-4" 237 lbs. (4th to early 5th) Johnny Mundt - 6'-4" 243 lbs. That at least one of their top guys will still be there at 44. I like it because neither Lamp or the receiver they want needed to be taken at 37. They didn't want Zay Jones they have other receivers rated higher.by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteFlorida_Ram I'm quite aware that there is a new regime and a different profile on players now. I'm just preparing myself for anything because Snead is still the default Man in charge of the scouting dept and a large part of how these players are currently rated tonight. I'm hoping the new coaching regime had a big impact on his scouting team and accurately stacked their board . Mayby laram - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteFlorida_Ram I don't know if We canTRUST Les Snead in the 2nd & 3rd rounds. I have no idea what he's going to do tonight but somebody should Post his below TRACK RECORD in The War Room Tonight on the Draft Board. If Les Trades back some slots from #37 because his Top 2 guys are gone, I'm fine with that. If he trades up a few spots because they think a player like Lamp is a plug and plby laram - RamsFootballFans.com
Supposedly John Fox didn't know that the Bears were taking Trubisky until a couple of hours prior to the pick! The guy who is responsible for the on the field performance doesn't know who his team is picking? It just adds credence to the fact that again, its easy to see why their are the Haves and Have nots in the NFL. Unreal.by laram - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteP.S. -- I'm a big fan of Godwins but they aren't drafting him. I officially believe they will draft Zay. I have it on pretty good authority that he will be the target if one other coveted player is gone before him. Who is the other "coveted" player?by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
Consensus has already been blown completely out of the water already in the 1st rd. A lot of guys went earlier and some later than anticipated. Teams are strange man, and its not difficult to see why there are only a few good/great franchises in the league. It has been such a wacky draft so far for ME I wouldn't be surprised by anything the Rams did at this point.by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
