Quoteleafnose As a Bruin and Trojan guy, I am pulling for this kid Not seeing him as a special teams player, which may be a difference maker. But keep him around. Sneak him on to the practice squad and just see what gives. He's going to make some noise. Add Ishmael Adams. Tiny. Off field stupidity. Thought he had a lot of upside as a collegiate. Could easily surprise us with his quicks.by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote21Dog Too many think all they have to do is show up. The good ones hone their craft and do their homework. ESPN let some good ones go as well, a number of them actuall including people like Ed Werder. ESPN became a hog now they're being slaughtered!by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote21Dog How many talking heads do they need? Silly to have a panel of four or five analyze games. Three is plenty and two good ones would probably cover it.by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
It was merely one of many examples of backs that routinely faced a stacked box. There are others that did/do a much better job of breaking a tackle at the los, making a player miss or being patient with his blocks. Btw SJ had 8 EIGHT straight 1000 yard seasons and avg over 4 ypc in his career as a Ram That's a lot more than "getting the tough yards"by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
You gotta love how the kid adjusts to balls tracking deep balls really well in the air. High points the ball with some sticky mitts. Dude has a lil OBJ in him with one glove. Long strider though, not sure how he's gonna do against NFL press coverage. He' ll be one to watch for sure.by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRFL To me, it's pretty simple. After a rookie year in which Gurley got the league's attention, the absolute failure to establish any kind of downfield threat defenses realized they had to account for Gurley, but need not fear anything the Rams did passing. So, they crowded the LOS. We had nothing to drive them off. By "crowding the LOS," I don't only refer to "8 in the box.by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
But nobody fears Tavon on deep routes so he's not clearing out defenses for anybody because he's not drawing the coverage. It took scheming against a predominant man coverage team to get him any consistent play downfield. You don't have to line him up in the slot to get him a clean release you can put him in motion across the formation and accomplish the same. The problem is running consby laram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteBlue and Gold that he's going to keep Aaron Donald as a pure 3-tech, so he will go from side to side, depending on the line call. Brockers will remain a 1-tech(shade) on the center. So, the tackles will not change. The player opposite Donald will usually be in a 5-tech (maybe a tight 5) or sometimes A 4-tech (head up on the tackle). Easley can back up the 5-tech and 3-tech and maybe evenby laram - RamsFootballFans.com

Right now no questions asked! Silly talk when this dude is on the field he's ultra productive even with shoddy qb'ing. I posted a detailed breakdown a couple years ago demonstrating how bad the qb'ing was throwing to Sammy. How many times he had badly beaten coverage only to receive an errant throw. I'll have to see if I can dig that up!by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJamesJM Goff appeared far more 'lost' to me in the Pro's, (that should be obvious to anyone).. and BECAUSE of that he's playing with almost no self assurance, (again, should be obvious to anyone)... AND he isn't setting up, delivering, with anywhere near the conviction he displayed in college. (perhaps not as obvious). Hope it's not necessary but I'm NOT saying Goff has 'lost it' and canby laram - RamsFootballFans.com
You've seen all of what 7 pro games of Goff? Are you saying that you saw an appreciable difference between college Goff and 7 game pro Goff?by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
His arm strength, anticipation an accuracy makes his wind up delivery a non-starter in my book. Phillip Rivers has a similar delivery with less arm strength, he's done fine. This kid is about as levelheaded as a kid can be, he will only soak in the pressure and thrive. Bank It!by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotestlramz in fact, the only reason I still hold them (besides the Fish getting canned) is because I know their is ZERO CHANCE I will purchase PSL's at the new place. I will buy tickets when I go for the games I want to go to. The notion of boning out $50,000 or $100,000 on PSL is CRAZY. This is my last rodeo as a season ticket holder until I can scoop up some ill advised purchaser's PSLby laram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteDeadpool Just wanted to say a thank you or two after the draft. First thank you to everyone that thanked myself and the other draft guys for the work we do. Its not work for me, its a hobby I enjoy and am glad other people appreciate my hobby, because I know for a fact no one would appreciate my other hobby, golf... I would also like to publicly thank the guys that help me with playerby laram - RamsFootballFans.com
And simply said stop it! But in today's game a fb in the game doesn't mean what you portend it the mean. Atlanta and Baltimore as two examples used fb's successfully last season, the key is versatile fb's that can be utilized multiple ways. Niners will deploy that as well. He's a meathead who built his strength throwing around iron over many years. It's not raw strength it's developed strength that this kid can work towards. PFF, SMHby laram - RamsFootballFans.com
For a team to identify a prospect years prior and the new coach say I need a te in my offense with x,y and z qualities and scouts/GM say we have a guy that we think fits that profile. Head coach then evaluates said player and agrees!! Yeah that never happens!! 8-)by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteBlue and Gold Quotelaram Because in college they lined this kid up everywhere inside and outside and he's a run and strike player like DeMeco was. And they drafted him in a 3-4 defense, so.... You've obviously never seen the kid play. Really? You compare this kid a DeMeco Ryans and say that Wade Phillips got his DeMeco Ryans, as if Ryans was ever a key piece in any Wade Phillips defeby laram - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteBlue and Gold QuoteCraigMatson This seems like a wild swing. But 4.45 speed is no joke at 245. Ryans was run out of Houston by Wade. Ryans a MLB and didn't adjust to his one year as ILBer for him,,, odd comparison.by laram - RamsFootballFans.com

Kupp really didn't. I thought they needed a guy with more juice and can he play outside? The Kupp pick was a bit surprising. Westbrooks has some issues though, so he might not be a McVay type of player.by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
