He should have had two arms around the ball going through the second level, but he only had one. You can go to one when you hit the third level, but the second level is full on flak..

The first fumble was Stafford’s fault since he didn’t run fast enough to make a hand off: he kind pitched the ball into Kyren’s bread basket. Stafford has had issues there before.

Sanders is about the same size—but he’s upper body gravity as opposed to Todd’s lower body gravity—but he looks a lot like Gurley as far as running style. A rare burst past the edge and a little cautious running it up the gut. But he’d be a good pick, it seems, since he’s a big play waiting to happen.

Wing span, arm length of both arms and shoulder width, is not something you want to ignore when drafting ball carriers. These thee clones just have a minimum wingspan to secure the ball. Bigger is better, not just for endurance, but to give more surface area to keep from fumbling.

Guys like Barkley and Dickerson are rare. But ED basically is responsible for getting D coordinators stacking the box. He was basically a long bomb without the risk: you sack or intercept an off tackle house call. When you have a guy that makes forces a defense to pack 8 in the box, you gain a lot of options— you have a run game and you have an opened up passing game. It’s too bad the Ram

I still have never seen a team as resilient as this one and they make me proud to be one of their fans. The fact that they played the way you want your team to play, makes the disappoint more of a sting. But I’ll take that sting every time in exchange for watching a team of ballers.

I was thinking we could finally put the clamps on this game after the safety and I said in my head, Kyren, don’t fumble and then he proceeds to get to the 2nd level with only one arm holding the ball. Pretty much game over after that even though we were in position to win at the end and Stafford gifted them another free ball.

That game looked like a Kyle Shanahan style game strategy. Get out to an early lead, force the other team to play catch up and then unleash your D-Line animals. McVay said as much after the game, or maybe it was Stafford. The O wanted to put the D in a position so they could do some hunting. After 9 sacks, I’d say they did some hunting.
