We gave Buffalo great field position last week which lead to a TD drive and this week we put the Niners at midfield—enough for a hailmary. SMHby Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteSpeed_Kills these refs need help... they are making terrible game impacting calls waaay too many today went in favor of the Bills bailing them out time and time again That was my sense too, Speed. I don’t know why, but superstars get a lot of ticky tack calls and they don’t need them.by Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com

Quote3030 QuoteRams43 McVay needs to look in the mirror, too. He is the HC after all. Team fell apart and I didn’t see adjustments of any kind. Rams O is getting 80% of cap dollars and turning in mediocre results almost every week. Should McVay turn over play calling duties to LaFleur? Is it smart to continue using 11-personnel so heavily, especially when opposing D’s seem to have figured out howby Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com
I’m still overjoyed we have Sean McVacy as the Rams’ head coach. But what happened to the game breakers?: Sammy Watkins, Todd Gurley, Brandon Cooks? The last one we had was DeSean Jackson which was three years ago and not even for a full season. Why did he stop acquiring/drafting these guys? Was it a Billy Bean-like corporate decision? Bad contract for Gurley—he couldn’t finish out the cby Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com
Even Aubrey missed a chip shot tonight. I think Karty is a keeper. He’s just got to make it through the season and he’ll be money going forward.by Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com
Jim. I’m too new to recall Phil, but I’m ever in awe at the devotion of those on the board who are diehards. On to better things, Phil—to a world where our Rams win the Super Bowl every day!!by Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com
He spills the beans on what the Eagles do. That’s what he does.by Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com
Good point on the drafting of replicate players. I’m sure the Rams are thinking of injuries and future contracts and they like the mold set by Kupp and Kyren, so why not plastic inject into that mold more of the same and you have a plug and play player without having to rewrite chucks of your playbook. But, how does that help your opponent? They don’t have to learn extensions of your playbooby Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com
I do think linemen need to gell , Staff, and, with the injuries, this first unit hasn’t jelled yet. Hopefully Havenstein is back this week and the starting O Line that was penciled in to start the season and coalesce for the remainder of the season which ends with hoisting the Lombardi.by Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com
I’m on board with you, 43. But I can’t see McVay giving up play calling completely. So, to keep him happy, switch it up. And if his results are not as good as LaFleur’s, then he should go with what works, instead of what he likes.by Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com
It was manifest that the Dolphins knew McVay and his play calling tendencies. One advantage of a HC that calls his own offensive plays is that it’s like having a two-headed QB. If you have two starting caliber QBs, you can make your next opponent’s DC’s life miserable by all the game prep. McVay should flip a coin at the beginning of the week between him and Matt LaFleur. Keep the winner oby Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com
