Pedigree for sure, but I don’t think it’s just the DNA. I’m sure Arch talks/speaks football like the rest of the Mannings and probably loves the game a lot. If his mind is at that level, I can’t see how McVay would pass up on him over one of the other stud QBs coming out, because that’s what McVay likes: talking ball. I’m on this board most every day like the majority here, but I’m embarrassed to say I didn’t recognize a lot of the names of Rams players who were balling out. I think it’s funny how more than a few mock drafts have him going to New Orleans. I know these aren’t the ‘Aints of old, but, had free agency been a reality in grandpa Archie’s day, he would have bailed out of the deadend team post haste. If you draft Arch (and I’m sorry, once he’s in the NFL, I’m calling him ‘Archie’), you get a pretty good prospect at the most important position on a rookie contract, you get good publicity for the Rams on the Manning Cast, you know McVay will be talking a lot of ball with Peyton and Eli, and you have the new face of the franchise to up the marketing campaign. I concur in your liking JH, DP. And I do that off my fanometer. When Skattebo was drafted I exclaimed out loud ‘dang’! (I’ve been dropping the ‘d’ word a lot the last few days.). But when I saw the Rams go with Hunter, I did the opposite of dropping the ‘d’ word and went with the ‘a’ word—‘alright’!by Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com

Houston got this years 34th, 99th and a 2026 3rd rounder. I don’t know how many points that totals up to, but they had the 25th pick to the Rams’ 26th and didn’t secure a 1st rounder.by Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com

The wife and I drove by the practice facility today. There’s a more permanent fence to the northeast and parking access on the west and north and a decent sized new parking lot. There’s a more permanent looking entry way that leads to the practice facility. Since they’re still using temp buildings, I don’t know how permanent that foyer is going to be.
