Actually our population is increasing every year. Just not at the same rate as before.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
That's an interesting thought. Sometimes I think that as we go through life the less restrictions we face the more we turn back to our pure selfishness when born. I want, I want, I want, gimme, gimme-that's why I'm crying. Feed me, feed me, and I won't cry.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
I grew up in the 50s and like to say life was full of absolutes then making it simpler. Maybe that's because there were fewer people-a lot fewer-and we had no frightening news at our remote control. Gosh, we didn't have a tv until mid 50s and there really wasn't a lot of stuff to see. But as population has increased exponentially our lives have become far more complicated. Whether that's good orby waterfield - Bucky's Pub
"...but the idea of removing guns from the country...." "Control" is not removing all guns from the country. Keep in mind your talking to someone who once was an NRA member when their focus was on gun safety; Somewhere along the way their focus became gun "rights". While I do not hunt anymore I still own a 12 gauge, 16 gauge, 20 gauge, 4-10, shotguns and a Savageby waterfield - Bucky's Pub

I think we-dog owners-might tend to forget is that dogs-again like us-have arthritic conditions that can flare up-can you say Todd Gurley-and then "settle down". Pepper is 11 yrs old and as she has aged there are many occasions where she thinks about it but decides she can't jump up on our platform bed. Other times she simply jumps up without a care in the world. When she was younger sby waterfield - Bucky's Pub
So sorry to hear that Steve. While I've never had a three legged dog I've been around several and they seem to be happy critters. Best of luck to you and your dog and lets pray there is no sign of the cancer having spread.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
"but I think you have to ask "why" are these people doing this in order to really get to the bottom of it" That assume there is one answer to "why" . Professionals in the area of social science including psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors, researches, etc have studied this for years . The difficulty is there is no one answer to "why". Of all the advanced countries we alone experience these mass shootings over and over and over and over. Almost on a daily basis. So my thought is this: I no longer understand the country I live in. Actually I do understand it-a little. Our population is and has been since WW2 exponentially. We have always had a proportion of our people who are unstable. Now that same proportion simply meansby waterfield - Bucky's Pub
" Do people REALLY think outlawing guns will stop psychopaths like this from getting them?" Not all. But if you save one child's life its worth it. First of all no one is arguing "outlaw guns". Not one lawmaker on either side of the aisle.. IMO a good compromise on an emotional issue is this: Allow anyone of age to own a gun used for hunting-meaning shotguns (i.e. ducks,by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
I might suspect a rattlesnake bite. Especially this time of year. While the snake bite's effects begin right away it takes awhile before the toxicity reaches fatal level. However, most dogs will survive a rattler bite and many of these snakes are not venomous. So who knows-the only true way is for a vet to do an autopsy.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
Some episodes appear preposterous to me-and I'm a great fan of the Bosch series having read several of Connely's books. The last episode I watched involved the blowing up of a refinery and the quick agreement for the bad guy to plead murder out of a fear from the Russians. The original Bosch series involved Connely's recollection of actual cases from the Robbery and Homicide Division at the Hollby waterfield - Bucky's Pub

There is a new series on Netflix called The Lincoln Lawyer. It too is based on the Michael Connelly novel by the same name. The main character lives in the same house as shown in Bosch. In fact that explains why the home in Bosch Legacy was damaged causing Bosch to move. I'm betting they needed the house to film scenes for The Lincoln Lawyer. driving around in circles in a ski lodge parking lot seeing how many donuts I could do on the ice, etc. Drag racing down an alley near school. Just moronic behavior by a 16 yr old on macho steroids. I understand how one's experience can dictate their frame of reference. And yours is a perfect example. No, I was never in any form of car club since I never found any car club invitations driving around in a 1949 Plymouth.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
Although my brother in law-a Big Foot believer-I mean a "real believer". He watches all the tv stuff on Big Foot and his answer is they bury their own. "Scamp" was a great dog and loved by all including neighbors. Used to hang out on the floor of our local barbershop and liquor store which were side by side. Unfortunately my mother's boss took him on a drunken hunting trip and we think he may have shot him or scared him so bad that he shortly afterward ran away and we never found him. A great, great dog.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
Well-if you think about it-having only one definition and belief in what a "car club" is -is as "simplistic" as it gets. I share your experience as to past car clubs. My best friend in H.S. owned a Triumph TR . He was constantly in contact with owners of similar Triumphs across the country. "A car club or automotive enthusiast community is a group of people who share a common interest in motor vehicles. Car clubs are typically organized by enthusiasts around the type of vehicle (e.g. Chevrolet Corvette, Ford Mustang), brand (e.g. Jeep), or similar interest (e.g. off-roading). Traditional car clubs were off-line organizations, but automotive on-line communities have flourished oby waterfield - Bucky's Pub

Love the rules-especially these: If a fan catches a foul ball the batter is out. If a batter bunts he's ejected from the game If the game is in extra innings the team in the field is limited to one outfielder, a pitcher, and a catcher. Once the batter hits the ball he has to run the bases and get to home before the ball arrives in order to score. In betweenby waterfield - Bucky's Pub
