I'm unaware of any tsunami plans in So Cal. I think the vulnerability depends on the shape of the land and shoreline and underwater bottoms, etc. Whatever it is we don't have it. Just in case when you visit Disneyland just bring a thick and long rope to tie you and your family around a large tree-much like in the original movie "Hurricane".by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
We don't have it and we've spent a lot of money over 14 years of having Pepper. I don't what what's covered under those policies and how much they pay on the Vet bills, etc. Not even sure what the premiums are either. My guess is that after 14 years of Vet bills it all comes out the same when you consider 14 years of premiums plus deductibles, etc. Good luck on your call on this.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
He's quite the beauty. Don't let the groomer (you or the professional) shave his feathers-the strands below his underside. But yes he does need a good haircut with summer approaching given where he lives. Gorgeous dog. I bet he loves to swim in one of your lakes ? If ever near the beach he likely will love the waves too.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
When you come to Disneyland are you afraid of a tsunami ? I would not worry,by waterfield - Bucky's Pub

I like the news from all three simply because they are not "opinion" oriented but based on the important facts of the day. I've lost interest in opinion so called "news" like Fox New, MSNBC, CNN, etc. I like to do my own critical thinking.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
you would love the book by James Clavell. It goes deep into the Japanese culture that is the foundation for the book and the television series. A great read.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
About the secret election of a new Pope in the Vatican. Fobert Fiennes plays a major priest in the process and this quotation from a scene is remarkable in its philosophy: “There is one sin I have come to fear above all others: certainty. Was there once nothing or has there always been something ? Something cannot come from nothing, therefore if there were ever nothing there would be nothing now-right? Therefore because there is something there must always have been something-tight? But was there always "something"? Or did the universe come out of "nothing". Other options? What is the reason? I do think community colleges do an excellent job of providing a learning environment for the trades. I was referring to High Schools-but alas-that was in the 50s. I do think parents share much of the blame on this subject. It seems that every parent(s) wants their child to be a Dr.,lawyer, engineer, etc. and forces the learning direction for that beginning in H.S. and often earlier. I can't tby waterfield - Bucky's Pub
about many students do not need or should not be in college. Unfortunately, many if not most high schools have dropped their classes in the trades like metal shop, wood shop, electronics, etc. Those were valuable courses when I was growing up and many a student began their careers in a trade based on what they learned in H.S.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
This from his own words: "Work with graduate students and fellow undergrads on researching black hole properties. Currently analyzing data from SDSS-V to perform reverberation mapping on an AGN with bright coronal emission lines in order to map the inner environments of the black hole." Well a lot of what you wrote (did you attend a University?) depends on the major that a student is in. If your major is in the physical sciences your not going to be so called "exploited". My grandson is in astro-physics at UCONN and believe me has no time for anything but studies and research. My wife studied high math including the theoritical courses in calculus. The ship sailed when the audience changed from wanting to enjoy a sporting event to wanting to be "entertained". TV knows where the money is-i.e. ratings. Remember when the hardest and most violent hits were isolated as "part of the show" on MNF.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com

Happy went on to have three litters the last one she gave birth to 15 pups-one after another after another after another. One of my first springers ("Happy") I lost for an entire day while chuker hunting. She chases a wounded bird down a shale canyon and that was it -gone. I hiked all day looking. Around 5 pm a man in a jeep came by and said "Are you looking for your dog". He took me to an area where she was still smelling around looking for the down bird.
