Nice post btw. I agree that Goff, and the offense, are struggling a bit. But I also feel without PA the Rams are having a hard time finding their identity. I too hope they are just knocking off the rust. It’s not being made as easy for Goff as it was the past couple years. I think he is doing ok despite that. I am hoping for continuing improvement from Goff. Every year he has gotten better.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Offense hasn't hit its stride yet and is surviving life after play action. But it's just two games so who knows. pats? lol nobody is way better than the Rams... or light years ahead or whatever. They are a very good team in all facets. They might or might not be the best team... same as the pats. Just way too soon to make any realistic conclusions from so little. QuoteSaguaro and you just let every play continue even after you honestly think it should be over, just because who knows, maybe replay will show something different... then a lot of players are going to get hurt, and pretty soon you're going to have chaos out there. Try being a Rams fan if you want to experience "catastrophic refereeing" *eye roll... eyes fell out of head* Or be a fan of any team and that crap happens... Happens to EVERY team. Other than the pats and the niners who have never had to deal with that. lolby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I seem to recall this happening all the time. Ref blows the play dead while the guy who picks up the fumble runs... Seen it with the Rams at least a dozen times over the years and probably a lot more than that. Also happens when a receivers' knee might not be down and he keeps running but the ref blows the whistle. So why, when I feel like I see this quite often, is it NOW that it's a travestyby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com

the tv ref said unless the ref on the field thought he threw the ball he doesn't blow the whistle... to me that means the ref on the field thought it was a pass. end of story... but probably not with the whiney saints. and the announcers didn't help matters with the "poor saints keep getting cheated by the league". and i do NOT like opera... although I like classical music a great deal. Opera voices for the most part make my skin crawl... Which is a shame because opera singers train so hard. Male voices not so bad but the women's full-time falsetto vocals make me shiver. Like finger nails against a chalkboard. I am OK with choral music... well Ode to Joy. I remember you posting that picture maybe 3 years ago at most. Time is flying so fast is a bit scary. My daughter is 9... seems like just a few years ago she was baby. or at least a general accepted acknowledgement of the pats cheating in the 2001 SB. lol... The GSOE stopped by the pats? Someday the lore of the Rams will be strong enough to set it right. and I am not over the pats cheating... but if the saint fans want to see ref injustice at the most extreme just watch the Rams/pats 2001 SB. It's the level of whine over one non-call that I take issue with lots of saints fans and coaches and some elected NO officials... smh... Try an entire game of it. Plenty of bad calls that went against the Rams in the last SB too. You deal with that stuffby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I hate adding to an already added to bloated post. I simply just don't think he is overthinking too much. I saw him staring down receivers. A win so demoralizing that the saints don't win another game and several players and coaches give up football mid-season... and the fans petition to have the Rams fined and to apologize for the merciless beating but the general population rolls their eyes at a bunch of whiney crybabies... with no one listening they crawl back under their moss covered rocks and live out their lives with the bugs aby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I got a lot of hand me downs. One was the swing set with slide. All metal but you couldn’t really see the metal for the rust. A lot of it was rusted through with sharp rusty edges everywhere. When I came in from playing on it I had to wash the rust off my hands. To this day I’ve never had a tetanus shot. Lol I wouldn’t let my daughter within 10 feet of that thing. Lol. I agree with you. There are times it appears that Phillips baits the other team to run... I agree with this philosophy because few teams are going to beat you that way. BUT you have to keep them out of the endzone. That was my biggest problem last season... the points given up, not the run yards. I don't like seeing the defense gouged for 200 yards rushing either but I get it. The playoff defeby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Just curious. I didn't see anything really disconcerting. Matthews didn't look very good to me but idk. After the first game of the season, I am pretty enthusiastic. My biggest concern is Goff staring down receivers. I was hoping he would take a step forward this season but WAY too early to be concerned. But as good as it is I'm not sure it should be considered a "best ever" contender. I think the truth is that the character being played and the writing add to the overall impact. I've seen posts (not not his board of course) that have have awarded victories to a team after a good first quarter. Like somehow the game will just continue like that. Heck if you just saw Ebukam play the Chiefs you might think he was a budding star instead of a struggling player. Going to take more than a few plays to make sweeping conclusions. And for the record if the Rams come out rusty I could give a damn. I expect the defense to be less effected. Pressure the QB. Good plan. I think the pats found and exploited a weakness in the interior of the OL. Hopefully the Rams have taken some steps to remedy that. If the run game gets going it won't be an issue. Rams could be a little run heavy anyhow considering its the first game for the starters. We'll see. 30 runs and 30 pass attempts? I thought he did a nice job last season. And he is listed as TE1 on the last depth chart I saw. But is he a drastically different player and I'm just missing it?
