and Rozeboom is fine for how much he plays. The article alludes to Jackson making the team because he was held out of the game. I read he had an injury. I thought that was the reason he was kept out. Although there could definitely be improvement(s). Rams could pick up someone if they are concerned about Jones. I agree about never having too many good CB's. And both are better than our current 4 and 5. I'm excited about the Rams secondary, so I don't want to go messing with it, lol. I think it's the best it's been. So what if there are crappy articles. No one is forcing anyone to read them. JYB alone has done wonders. And then we have better reporting than ever. but he was never really a factor with any team he played for. I feel like he should have been a great player. But there was something missing. I don't know if it was lack of work ethic, or just not a feel for route running. The greatness never happened. No Atwell, Corum, Garoppolo, Noteboom, Reeder, Brown and I feel like a few corners.... but I saw Yeast out there which I thought was interesting. I think they held Brennan Jackson out due to injury? I thought the Rams played well on both sides of the ball... Bennett... sigh... That was hard to watch 5 int's. I think I am comfortable with the starters and players who will see significant time have the first game of the season be their preseason of sorts. Kind of a crazy way to explain it but that's basically how I see it. Starting rookies will be learning on the job. It's a long season. Kickers though, yes absolutely. All the work they can get. The Rams are a young team with a lot of players they need to get good look at. I think a few have impressed in training camp and now to see them in a game, albeit preseason. Don't get me wrong, preseason is basically 82.7% made up of players who will probably never play in the NFL. I am excited to see some of the rookies and FA's play. Who can make the PS? and probably injuries in general, but I think Jones having an issue, perhaps lingering, is disconcerting. I like Reeder and I think he is a fine back up but do they need to add another roster spot for ILB? That would keep me up at night as a coach. I think it's interesting that Witherspoon, who I believe was and is, available and the Rams went after Jacobs instead. I feel like the Rams are significantly improved in the secondary. The Rams have about 7 or 8 young CB's fighting for basically one, maybe two roster spots. Hopefully some of them will shake out during preseason. It didn't seem like the Rams were too concerned about ILB in the draft and seem content with what they have. Excited about Curl... actually excited about the secondary on whole.
