My son is there waiting for her to go thru customs. Yes, Steve, I agree about customs. It's hell. For me it's the 'line'. But anyway.... You've never seen a more excited person. :laughing She said she didn't sleep one second on the flight.... too excited!!! :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
All that anxiety she built up for naught. :laughing Found the gate easily... and the flight delay out of fresno to Phoenix still left her with plenty of time. Of course, now she's worried about Customs. :laughing You know, as much as that young lady worries she's perfect for becoming a Ram fan. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
We leave in one hour to take my granddaughter to the airport for her month long visit to Europe. She is super excited and I'm.... wellllll... excited for her but also. Sniff. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I'll go into this coming season the same as I always do... SB is the goal, whomever is on the roster if they're Rams then the SB is the goal. Play hard, play to win... nothing less. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't know what to think of that track... night and nearly neon lights everywhere. It almost looked like a Video Game. So ok'... it's beautiful, no denying that. But I'm not fond of it. I'm just too old fashioned, I guess. I do NOT hate it... at all.... so don't think that. However, in the end it's the race that's most important, obviously... not the aesthetics although yes, the aesby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
but at the same time I think you're more likely to be right than not.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
You're right - "Gotta love March Madness" :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Yup, knew him well from Bosch. 60? That's odd.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
If I was to exit my cocoon and go to another... I want to see George Strait. I know, he won't be very popular here... but I love the guy. Last band I think I saw was Cold Blood... with NO original members other than the vocalist... Lydia Pense... which was all that mattered anyway. :laughing Got to talk with her... it was great.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
"The Onion Field".by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I agree with it all... plus - the fact that we don't even know our roster yet. Hard to call em' losers without even knowing their names. :laughing (just a little supercilious).by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I was about to write that these are my two favorite female rock songs.... but that would have been stupid. :laughing There are so many I like than naming 'two' would be lunacy. But.... I'll post them anyway... Lydia Pense - Cold Blood- "Down To the Bone"... don't really care for this version but couldn't find a better one. Also... not really rock...it's funk. And Melissaby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
He will be very proud of me. Before it was disassembled I visited the hangar at Van Nuys used in the movie "Casablanca". Hallowed ground! Last I heard the plan was to reassemble the hangar, (different location), as a kind of 'tourist' stop of some kind... I have no idea if they ever did it. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
both the real one and fly the sim. I'm greedy. :laughing Hope you don't mind this takeoff on your post.... but your screenshot made me think of this. Warning... for non-aviation buffs this will make little sense to you. :laughing I started flying lessons in 1967. It was a different world back then. We used to actually do touch and goes at SF International... if you can believe that..by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Otherwise the volume is too low.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I'm kidding. :laughing Although I am worried.... which you should really ignore because as a fan since around 1958 I have worried about every upcoming season. So am I more worried about this coming season than 'normal', (using the term very loosely)? I don't think so, but perhaps I should be. I'm confused about this off season.... I don't know what the plan is and even worse I can't reallyby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
it does, however, require an extensive knowledge of four letter words. You can't know too many. Proper form when flinging a club in disgust is helpful but not required.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I have an aversion to using yellow or orange golf balls.... why? Well... not sure, I guess because it was only white until I was in my 30's maybe? I don't want to change. It's like having a Big Mac... I want a Big Mac...not the all new Big Mac with a pumpernickel bun (no such thing).by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
If you're young and have good eyesight. For me? Not so much. :laughing I may convert to the bright yellow or orange golf balls.... supposedly they are easier to see. It's actually pretty easy to see the ball in flight... so if it's a bit off the fairway you have a good idea of the area to search.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Taking... ummmm,15, maybe 20 years off has set me back further than square one. Ah well. :laughing with diligence I think I can get back more consistency, and accuracy... distance however is gone forever. I can live with less distance if I can get more accurate, however. My grandsons, just learning so a lot of bad shots, when connecting were driving it right at 300yds. That's far. Veryby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Talk about revolutionizing a sport... this guy may have been the best of all time.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
but I didn't expect it... a nomination yes, not the oscar. Now Michelle Yeoh YES... I did think she had a great chance at best actress. The woman is an amazing actress and I think the best making movies today. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I got nothing. I'm utterly bewildered as to what's going on. And not just Ramsey, although that was the 'straw' (so to speak)... but rather Ramsey on top of the previous moves this off season taken together adds up to an enigma wrapped in a conundrum packaged in a puzzle hiding in a mystery that not even magic mushrooms would explain. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
It's probably 20 miles away as the crow flies. Yesterday's storm was much closer.... about 2 miles away. Not sure but this may continue thru Wednesday. Hope it's not here tomorrow... have a Tee Time at noon.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
This one not as close but we are on alert. Supposed to continue for the next 3 hours or so. They're telling people in mobile homes to get out now.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
We all heard a noise during the tornado alert that confused it. Had sort of the rumble of thunder but that was the only similarity. It was steady, not getting louder or quieter.... same volume and constant. I can't imagine that was thunder from lightening but what else? The wind? Is that possible? If this cloud I describe was spinning at who know...200mph? Would the wind itself make a souby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I think it would be considered a small one.... by your standards. I have some 35' Palm trees lining my driveway... they were bent nearly at a 90ยบ angle. I couldn't believe they didn't snap. It destroyed a cotton seed shed near me. Like i said, dangerous tornados are very rare here but we get some occasionally that do damage.... like blowing all the tiles off a roof, or sending a shed to Oby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
My daughter and I pulled into a parking lot for a pub we liked a lot in prep for a football game that my grandson played in. This was in a town about 40 miles from here. We were about to exit the car when the German's dropped their entire payload of bombs... at least that's what it sounded like. Reedley, the town we were in, has a siren. ONE siren... but it's so loud everyone in town and thby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
