Fresno State is off to what I think is a great start at 1-1 having lost to Oregon BUT in the game right to the end. Of course I can't speak for Greg but I'm guessing he agrees.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
You can probably guess why this came to my mind, no? :laughing Ok, we know Steve's answer. Mine - well, can't say which one I've watched the most... but all of these I've seen many, many times. I think my #1 could be the movie I've watched the most... but it's close. 1. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid 2. Well THAT was surprising.... and jaw dropping. It's also mind-blowing..... I can't even imagine the work you put into that. Here I was thinking how admirable I was for printing out a full color Ram schedule for 2021 to stick on my refrigerator. :laughingby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
but there ain't chance in hell I'm spending $179 to euthanize a chicken. I grew up in a family in which we provided most of our food ourselves (Three families)... meat, vegetables, fruit, you name it. We had a large walk-in freezer at our shop and every hunting season we stocked it which provided most, not all, the meat we consumed for the following year. It won a ton of awards, didn't it? I know it was VERY praised when it came out. I read it.. ehhh. I wasn't that impressed with it.... but then we all know by now you can't go by me. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
although I do agree that 'most' of the time losing a starting QB will result in failure I'm not sure it's 'rare' for a backup QB to "play as well, and rarely better". That would be very difficult to assess... for example... you lose a starting QB going into the playoffs and then the backup QB loses in the first playoff game, or the second... who's to say the starting QB wouldn't haby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

That may have changed since I looked at the roster. I'm not worried about remembering the numbers because... I've never been able to do that. I go by their aura of confidence. :laughing Actually I always start the year with a printout of the roster, by number.... then they kick the ball to start the game and I leap from my comfy chair and I never look at the printout again. that people are so sure Henderson will be hurt.... or maybe outplayed?, by week 6. Both scenarios are certainly possible.... I'm betting against it. He's going to make you doubters believers. :laughingby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
My grandson that lives in England tried out for the Lakenheath Lancers football team... he had never played football in his life - he's a rugby player, (still is)... AND... He just sent me a text - "I made starting QB". Third QB among my grandsons, (6 of them). 3 QB's, 1 WR, 1 Tackle, and the youngest who can play any position on the field.. currently RB. I’m not going to mention who this person is… for fear that if word got out I’d be fed to pigs while still alive. BUT.. in all fairness - a lot of older people didn’t grow up with all this tech… and their lack of even basic knowledge regarding smartphones, computers, etc. is VERY understandable. In truth... it wasn't the person's fault, it was mine, and my impatience. So I’m helping a persoby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
not for me, however, I love liver and onions. But yeah... that fits... love it or hate it. Thought of another I don't really like... again, I can them, won't upchuck, but no... not my cup of tea. Pigs Feet. Pure fat. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

it wasn't just what he did, (impressive), for me but how he did it! Which, to me, was more than impressive. And yet... the guys entering what, his 4th year? If he had it surely by now he'd have a home? I can't shake the feeling the this guy, Lawler, can play. I'm not saying it need be for the Rams... but if I was looking for a LB I'd REALLY consider this guy. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I have a very strange 'quirk', if you will. I have been a fan of the Rams since the 50's, but it was the season of '67, (actually '66 it began), when I became obsessive, (in a good way I think :laughing ) So thru the 70's I came to think of "my" Rams as nothing but winners... even if the SB eluded us. Here's the rather 'quirky' part of this... I've never lost that. Not thru the 90by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
but I can't help but wonder... are 3 preseason games enough to really judge a player at ANY position? I've always been curious about what goes on behind the scenes... that we know little about - how a player performs in practice most notably. I'm just not sure how important what we see, preseason games, is in making these final decisions.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
and there may be other foods that fall into this category, but off the top of my head Blue Cheese is the only one where this seems true.... There is no middle ground. You either LOVE it, passionately, or you DESPISE IT, with extreme prejudice. I'm in the "love" category.... most of my family is in the 'hate' category... but I don't think I know a single person in the "take itby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I'm just not sold on the 'he got hurt before he WILL get hurt again' position. I think that relies more on superstition than fact.... OTHER than, serious injury, like a torn ACL. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

McVay always envisioned 3 RB's... they have something up their sleeve. :laughingby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I even posted that it would be a tough call for McVay to cut Hekker... if for no other reason than the emotional one... BUT... I do NOT think it was that alone, or even mostly. I don't think McVay does anything that he doesn't consider the best for the team... even when the decision is a hard one... I have no doubt McVay, and company, feel Hekker is well up to the task. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Just posted about that, (didn't know they had cut him however)... I'd look VERY closely at this guy. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
