It wasn't even close to JG I enjoyed beating... not him mostly, that is. If there was a 'mostly' for me I guess I'd choose Deebo... because that guy is GREAT. But it wasn't him either. It was the franchise.... the Niners, as a whole. I'm pretty sure you get that, and the board gets that... but I have to admit that I'm not 100% convinced that Ram fans understand the clout of that victory oveby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
it's radiant heat they can diminish. That's huge... everyone who has ever been in the Coliseum knows that the outside temp can be 80 but the sun beating down on you can make it feel like 120.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
because I read a LOT about that. I can't even begin to explain how they might make that work for them in Sofi... but any human being that's ever been to the ocean can vouch for the fact that there DOES exists an ocean breeze quite unrelated to whatever the outside air temp is. As close as Sofi is to the shore I have at least considered that maybe, just maybe, they can capture that somehow?by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Don't agree, because I'm a drummer... but I think it's DEAD on the money how most view the drums.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I remember the first two I ever drink... mid way thru the second I vomited. I don't remember how old I was when that happened but I can say it was well below legal drinking age. I didn't actually begin 'liking' beer until I was stationed in Germany, in the Army... and WOW.... did I ever start liking it. I never abused it, however... didn't drink it to get drunk, or even a buzz... it was justby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
then I have to believe all the 'cooling' innovation they lauded, (tech or otherwise), is a big fat lie. The Coliseum would be that cool... Sofi has NO benefits at all?by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I follow ex-Rams... wish them well... and yes, especially Goff because I think he was very very good... just not quite good enough, but LOVE what he did with the Ram franchise. BUT... I don't root for their teams... them as individuals yes... Detroit... well... with all I've read lately exposing how bad they are they definitely have my sympathy... but it's 'pity' respect, nothing more.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
i almost never eat a regular meal from McD's..... maybe once a year, and then more for nostalgic's sake than anything, I'll have a Big Mac OR maybe their original plain ole hamburgers... BUT... That sausage egg McMuffin is to DIE for.... I know for a fact that dozens of posters here will jump in on this and tell me it's the single worst thing for your health in the universe... I DO NOT GIVE Aby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Steve, it's that F'ing tumor that worries me. I take heart, a GREAT deal in fact, that it's growing slowly.. I think that a VERY good sign. But still... and again, I'm an idiot... I can't get it through my head that there is no way to determine 'malignant' or 'bening' without any risk to you.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
But as an Admin for this board I think I'm due a raise... and a big raise at that. I currently receive... nothing... so my proposal is... quintupling that? I think it's normal in negotiations to begin with a bit more than you're willing to settle for?by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
If so, I think that gives us something we can use to quantify this sweet thing... McD's iced tea is just WAY too sweet for me, not even close. It's not as sweet, however, as my Very Sweet Limoncello. :laughing So you have a sweet tooth... I can say "I do not"... but actually, I could name several things that are beyond sweet and I love them... Pismo Beach Cinnamon Rolls, for exampleby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I don't know how your insurance works... maybe it's a huge problem.... but all of this sure makes me scratch my head. I think you're currently going to Dallas for medical attention? I can't imagine Dallas being anything less than as up to date as any other city, or state. This next is NOT expertise because I have NONE... nor is it criticism because I have no idea regarding the competence oby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I read articles that led me to believe it was built to allow temp control (somewhat), using current weather conditions... IOW being able to use the ocean breeze to cool it if need be? And apparently they figured that was sufficient to be able to cool the inside no matter the outside temp?by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Not many new QB's do I expect to hit the field at peak. I'm sure there are many things Trey will need work on, not just his throwing motion.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
My sister has the biggest sweet tooth I've ever known anyone to have. She added sugar, and I mean heaps of it, to Frosted Flakes. A couple years ago I made some limoncello, remember that? I made 3 batches labeled, "Very Sweet", "Sweet", and "Tart". Can't remember the amounts of sugar I added but the Very Sweet was full strength sugar... the Sweet was half ofby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
although I'm not sure we have the whole, or even true, story. JG and Russell were to be expected. While we're on this topic I am finding it very interesting that on this board I don't think I've heard a single positive about Trey Lance. And yet, most of the Niner fans I know are very upbeat on Trey... even into that over the top 'we're in the SB with him' confidence only Niner fans can comeby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Every morning since the glorious victory over SF it's the first thing in my mind when I awake - "Rams are in the SB" followed very quickly by "Oh God this wait is killing me". :laughing I find myself doing things I don't normally do in the foolish hope of setting my angst aside for just a moment. Example...I've watched a 3 or 4 movies in the last 3 or 4 days that I wouldby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
But then, I'm not watching much of it. For example... I've heard Burrow mentioned a few times but was unaware that it was that big of a story... that he's being that much praise. I'm also extremely selfish when it comes to the Rams... this game is for me... for the years of work and passion I've put into this franchise. :laughing The rest... to use Mama's word, is just 'noise' to me.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I think you and I said the same thing. Yeah... to me if we lose sight of the "thrill of victory and the agony of defeat" then the rest won't matter anyway because it will mean we're doomed. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
that cross country skiing is the most physically exhausting of all sports. I have never cross country skied, myself, but I can say that getting around on ski's, using poles are skating, definitely will wear you out. I've been watching it all... seems every Winter Olympics a different event captures my fancy, but in general I'm a traditionalist and the alpine skiing events tend to be my favoriby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I catch a show now and then... but nearly always when I see a name mentioned on this board I have to search for an image so I know who is being discussed, had to do that with this guy, Skip. Saw his mug and I've seen this guy more than a few times... not even close to a regular viewer but I have seen enough to know... I don't get what people get out of this type of presentation. If you give any inclination whatsoever that you like something she bought at the grocery store she will bring it home every grocery shopping trip for the next two decades. I don't come across our band on Youtube, that was the only one I'm aware of... but it happens on Facebook all the time... horrible sound quality, lousy lighting, and they always seems to choose the worst songs we do. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I was perusing YouTube listening to music... typed in "X Wichita Falls" and found our good friend sstrams... nice job Steve, enjoyed the heck out that. then I just started watching bands at random when it occurred to me... has my band ever made Youtube? You never know these days... so I searched... and WHAM... there we were, at a performance from maybe 7, 10 years go?.... at a privaby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
A list of teams that will not be playing football this coming weekend: Bills, Patriots, Dolphins, Jets, Steelers, Browns, Ravens, Titans, Colts, Texans, Jaguars, Chief, Raiders, Chargers, Broncos, Cowboys, Eagles, Commanders, Giants, Packer, Bears, Vikings, Lions, Bucs, Saints, Falcon, Panthers, Cardinals, Seahawks.... and of course the 49ers. We will soon see Samuel Spade in a new movie, and starring Humphrey Bogart. Dorothy will once again visit Oz, starring Judy Garland. And, of course, we'll soon learn what another day brought to Scarlett... starring Vivian Leigh of course. The writing has been on the wall for a long time. Last time I actually remember watching the Pro Bowl... other than glancing at it, was at Coliseum when I got a bench pass for game. I can't remember the year. 70's I guess?by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
or at least it does me... how much is scheme/tweaking and how much is mental/emotion. Difference between the Ram's aggressiveness in the last regular season game and the NFC Championship was striking.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Was Al Hirt playing his trumpet. I was a big Al Hirt fan, being a trumpet player myself. I also remember it being quite the gala event! Very good opening game for the Saints... I was a Ram fan, of course, but one couldn't help getting caught up in the New Saint Fan's excitement.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
