It wasn't even close to JG I enjoyed beating... not him mostly, that is. If there was a 'mostly' for me I guess I'd choose Deebo... because that guy is GREAT. But it wasn't him either.
It was the franchise.... the Niners, as a whole. I'm pretty sure you get that, and the board gets that... but I have to admit that I'm not 100% convinced that Ram fans understand the clout of that victory over the Niners. That was as close as you can come to being a win or DIE game... that a loss meant the end. Yes, of course, it wouldn't have been literally the "end"... but it would have been close.... it would have shadowed years to come, decades to come. Maybe more.
I think I'd have to day it was the most 'important' victory in Ram's history... not necessarily the most exciting, or thrilling for us fans... but important? Our friggin' franchise was at stake. IMHO. - JamesJM
