The exact line was from Greenburg who said "You can't have this converation unless you include the Rams"....which I think is fair. They haven't proven yet that they are a a solid pick in the top two. Funny thing is if Cooper Kupp makes the catch against the Seahawks and they are 5-1 right now.....perhaps many would say it's all Eagles and Rams right now. Greenburgh said there are tby chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
Do yourself a favor and watch a few of the youtube clips of their Undisputed show after that game. Sharpe is hilarious in his slow death-by-a-thousand-cuts approach in rehashing the game for Bayless. I give Bayless credit....he has fun with it too. Their picks segment in picking the Rams/Seahawks game was also fun (even though Sharpe ended up being wrong and Bayless correctly picked the Seahawby chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
Rams were way overdue for favorable calls by the refs....and good ball bounces.. Even though the Refs correcty overturned the fumble call on Robert Woods.....had that been called correctly during the play......that was a TD the other way for the Jags. I know some will say the Rams stopped running because the whistle was blown....but that Jag defender was gone.....and it would have been a totallby chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
Since they also have the Seahawks ranked #8.....and figure the Rams were a dumb turnover (some say bad call) and a dropped TD pass from still winning the game.....having the Rams sitting at #11 probably makes sense.by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
Not specifically Tavon and Cooper in a trade. But...figured the Giants might deal for some respectable receiving help. Plus....they might want some insurance in case they decide OBJ becomes too much to stomach. But after thinking about it.....I think the Giants are looking to move on from Eli Manning. Losing OBJ and almost all their other receivers gives them cover to lose out to put them inby chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
He still ocassionall bobbles the ball....but he brings some value in stretching the defense and keeping the defense spread apart to allow for Gurley to make plays. But long term....once the contract expires....I would let him walk.by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com

Perhaps it really started after halftime last week. I have also been saying however.....that this defense will probably not be a top 8 type of defense. They need better players to fit this scheme. I think it can play top 15 over the last half of the year. That might be good enough.by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes it made for a great highlight against the Redskins....but I would rather he play 16+ games.by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com

The Colts didn't have Luck and Vonte Davis The 9ers were the 9ers The Cowboys only had 6 days rest vs the Rams 10 days......and they didn't have Sean Lee Now.....the Seahawks are banged up. So the following week will the Jaguars still be jet lagged from their London Game?by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
Most players get four preseason games. But given that they don't play most of every game....I'd say the game against the Cowboys brings Donald's preseason to a close. Now he can start playing.by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
Goff will continue to grow and improve. That's a great thing. However, I don't think you should expect consistent 350 yard and 4 TD games from him by the end of this season. The rest of the NFL was not prepared for Goff to break out like this. They didnt' know what to expect from a McVay game plan. Partly because McVay modifies his scheme for the talents of his players. So....the two wby chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
I actually caught myself having confidence that the Rams would score on that drive. Getting that FG was a huge confidence boost going into the locker room.by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
Fisher just figured he could ride Gurley. He had no creativity to help him. Gurley must feel like he can't wait to touch the ball every play now!by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com

They are comparng the first two home games last year vs the first two home games this year. So....included in last year's number is the first home game in LA in 30+ years ....against the defending NFC champs....who are also a division rival (where they drew 91K people). Wheras the first home game this year was vs the Indy Colts without Andrew Luck. I think if you look at the last few gamesby chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
When they were 3-1 last year, it seemed like they were doing it with smoke and mirrors and gadget plays. You knew it was only a matter of time before the implosion would happen....and it did. This year there is at least hope...and even expectation, that there won't be an implosion. While I agree that laying claim to the NFC West Title is VERY premature. At least we can now expect this teamby chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
The left side of the D-line: Westbrooks (if he's not in jail), Barwin, and Barron are going to have to step it up this game. If they can get penetration and stay in their lane.....and keep Dak in a collapsing pocket (where Brockers and Donald can get pressure)....maybe there is a chance.by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com

Lets be real.....this unit was in such shambles it would be greedy to say everything needs to be fixed ASAP. For now, I will take the much improved pass protection. To date....they have only allowed 3 sacks. If you listen to Collinsworth during the Thurs night game, he still think Goff needs to learn how to step up into the pocket (and let the tackles move the DE out and behind Goff. If you look at starting QB's in the league only four QB's are currently ahead of him. This includes Derek Carr....who will likely fall below Goff after tonights game. It also includes Bradford who is only measured off of one incredible game. Goff is also second in Yard/attempt. Only Bradford is ahead of him. Still a long way to go....but a good initial showing by Goff.by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
They had to settle for the FG. Would love to watch that dude sweat as he answers questions from the press on what he was thinking. Coach Fox will protect him from the public.....and give him his solo chewing out.by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
It's going to take another game or two. But they just don't have the horses to get this team to a top 5 defense over the last 8 games. If the Ram offense is not a fluke....perhaps being top 15 is enough.by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
This Rams D-line is still trhing to figure things out. The Cowboys offense ran into a well-oiled Bronco Defense machine last week. The Cow Pokes will be looking to prove that was a fluke. What better situation then against a defensive unit that it still looking for any bit of mojo. Only thing to save the Rams will be multiple Cowboy turnovers....and a controlled run offense to keep the Cowbby chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
I have been saying it is asking too much to expect this team to quickly transition into a 3-4 and become the Phillips defense of the Broncos and Texans. Phillips is now realizing his formula is not magic. He stepped into good situations in Denver and Houston. Not so much in LA. That said.....I think it will take about four or five games for the players to stop "thinking" and startby chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com

Playing the Colts was not a good measurement of defensive readiness. Despite AD being a freak athlete....working him in so soon didn't help. However having him play was the right decision. I think it will take a good three or four more weeks for this defense to be up to snuff on the 3-4. Just gotta hope the offense can score 30 points per week until then.by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
