Maybe you're not entirely off base. Trent Dilfer just said things he is hearing out of Rams camp is that Mannion is having the best camp. First I have heard of this. If he can continue on this trajectory....having him with Goff could make a solid QB stable
The ESPN crew referenced more along the lines of Mannion auditioning for other teams. Too early to say this is for real.
Give the kid credit. He may see the writing on the wall....but he is not planning on going quietly. I understand he didn't take his snaps against the 1's (and at some positions even the 2's). However just after he entered the game you could see him screaming at a few players (when there seemed to be some confusion) and taking charge in the huddle.
