i've always admired Jerry West since I was a kid. West is one of the few great players that transitioned from being a great player to a very good coach and a great executive.. Not many great players have made that transition.... but as great as he's been at the executive level..... there's got to be a reason why the Lakers, Warrriors, and Memphis didn't renew his contract as an executive....by JoeMad - Bucky's Pub
Dr. Buss and his daughter... visionaries in creating a new game day experience and building a winner.... I didn't realize how broke they were and how chaotic that roster was... Dr Buss certainly knows how to grease the skids to get stuff done his way. I remember a lot of these events happening, but not at that level of detail.... excellent casting of those characters. OBJ came in mid season and peaked at the right time in Dec and Jan to help win huge games for the Rams. Do you folks forget the late 4th down conversion and game winning TD in Baltimore?by JoeMad - RamsFootballFans.com

nuke a slice of Portuguese Sweet bread in the microwave for 6 seconds with your favorite butter spread....... it's heaven. my mom baked sweet bread bi-annually during this time of year and for Christmas gifts... i miss the smell of mom's kitchen...both her baking and cooking. don't forget the malasadas....by JoeMad - Bucky's Pub
I've seen it... all the episodes... it's not a bad show. but to me it doesn't live to all the hype... . other than Kevin Costner, the acting isn't very good....some scense are like a B Movie.... Although, I do like Rip Wheeler's character and the actor who plays him..... he played a high school football linemen in the movie Dazed and Confused... another actor who isn't too bad is Dutton's laby JoeMad - Bucky's Pub
have any of your folks seen this series on HBO yet? I've seen the 1st 3 episodes... and I'm really beginning to really like this series. I didn't realize that: Jerry West was a bit of a wreck, that Jack Kent Cooke (Redskins owner) sold the Lakers to Dr. Buss and that Pat Riley walked off the courts of Venice beach to beg for a color analyst job with Chick Hearn, and that Dr Buss made a cby JoeMad - Bucky's Pub

Waner fell in the Ram's lap... he was left for dead on the expansion waiver for Cleveland and luckily stayed in STL. Vermeil somewhat fell in the Ram's lap too, since no coach in the right mind wanted to coach the Rams after Rich Brooks. Pete Carrol, Seifert and others turned down lucrative offers to coach in STL.. Vermeil wasn't even on the radar the Rams initially made their coaches list.by JoeMad - RamsFootballFans.com

sometimes that happens .... 11 points with Holt, Bruce, Faulk et al. Proehl scored the lone TD. Goff didn't have Kupp, nor Gurley in the Super Bowl and 2 big drops by Cooks didn't help... sometimes that happens.....sometimes that's the way playoff games go. in their 1st Super Bowl, Vince Ferragamo had zero TD passes in both the NFC Championship and Super Bowl. Sweet.... this rematch with SF was in the back my mind ever since the Rams blew the 17 point lead on Jan 9 in the final game of regular season..... When the Rams lost that day, most of us hoped for a rematch in the championship, but that seemed highly unlikely, since SF had to win in both Dallas and in Green Bay in the playoffs..... That Jan 9 Ram's loss to SF perhaps turned out to be aby JoeMad - Bucky's Pub
he had 1 TD since that game (last Sunday vs Rams) and his targets haven't been that high except in the 2 games vs the Rams. Prior to Titan game, he was targeted much more in the offense.by JoeMad - RamsFootballFans.com
i'm not sure that Skowronek would be the primary receiver on that play..... i think he was a bit surprised the ball was thrown his way... the route he ran was slightly different to the pass thrown..., thus had to make an over the helmet catch to finish the play... too bad, it was a sure TD.by JoeMad - RamsFootballFans.com

McVay’s Rams are 2-23 when trailing by double digits in the second half ..both wins in NFC Championships INGLEWOOD, Calif. -- The end came sooner and in more heartbreaking fashion than the San Francisco 49ers could have imagined. In a blown lead reminiscent of their most recent playoff loss (Super Bowl LIV), the Niners coughed up a 10-point fourth-quarter advantage to the Los Angeles Ramby JoeMad - RamsFootballFans.com
i too use a TV antenna .... I have the Channel Master 4228.... I'm about 50 miles south of SF and get most of the SF channels, except sometimes I lose the signal on the FOX affilate and independent stations... it's about 35' off the ground strapped to my chimney.... thus, i'm looking for a higher mast and some type of amplifier to boost the signal... not sure which amp to get.by JoeMad - Bucky's Pub
