A shame. I would much rather have taken him today with one of the 4ths than Atwell at 57.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Doesn't seem like a DeSean Jackson that lines up and just goes. He's a guy they will put offset in the shotgun, in the slot, in motion, sweeps, etc. and likely get the ball to from 0-10 yards downfield. That's at least what these highlights indicate is his game.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I will say I still cannot see why they passed on Cox and Browning. But... can Jones be a quality LB? Sure. Jeremiah ranked him 99th overall. And let's not forget the Rams had a bottom 3 special teams unit last year and he would seemingly be able to help a lot there this year while he learns the ropes.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, I don't see how you don't take Cox or Browning there....by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Can he get 10 good lbs. on this kid's frame?by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Only one I have seen have him anywhere higher than 95th overall.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com

Maybe an option at 88. Maybe. But 57? When he'll be the WR4 for the foreseeable future?by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I have wondered about Hainsey as well. One of mine is WR Ihmir Smith-Marsette of Iowa. I really like him. WR Josh Palmer too.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, odds are 2 of the 5 QBs taken last night will end up good. That's just draft history. And since Lawrence seems very likely to be one of them it means three of the other four likely won't pan out.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I did this through round 4. Two trades to help the Rams end up with 6 selections.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, hard to see three centers coming off the board in round 2. So many teams in the top half of the 2nd could use Samuel, Jr. You're right, LAC at 47 is likely his floor.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
He has a lot going for him- athleticism, smart, seems like he has a good head on his shoulders, has played very well. But a lot of questions too- small school, less than 20 games played, etc. It's a big gamble... And clearly he will need a year on the bench. But honestly more rookie QBs should sit. I think these days a lot of young QBs really suffer from being thrown into the fire too sooby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Just using the top 200+ list I found that aggregated all the major draft sites rankings, here are the top 50 available and I highlighted some that could be Rams targets/fits: Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah LB Notre Dame Teven Jenkins OT Oklahoma State Azeez Ojulari EDGE Georgia Christian Barmore DL Alabama Trevon Moehrig-Woodard S TCU Samuel Cosmi OT Texas Terrace Marshall Jr. WR LSU Elijah Mby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
3 best value picks (in my opinion): - OT Darrishaw to MIN at 23 - QB Fields to CHI at 11 (not sold on him but for that team and at that spot it made good sense) - OT Slater to LAC at 13 3 biggest reaches: - OT Leatherwood to LVR at 17 (projected around 40th) - LB Collins to ARZ - EDGE Turner to Saints (early 3rd rounder?)by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
So much appreciation for Deadpool, Alyo and everyone that contributes so much this time of year...by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Type of guy that they could get in round 4 and develop while playing situationally and on special teams as a rookie. Team captain, good experience, great length, former basketball player. Could stand to add 10 lbs. of muscle to his frame but that can be done ahead of the 2022 season.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
If they do trade down I think it will be no more than 10 spots. I don't think Snead cares to accumulate 6th and 7th round picks. This team has enough talent now that only 50% of 6th and 7th rounders should even make the team at all. But I do think they want to maximize the number of picks between 57 and the end of the 4th round (145th). That's their sweet spot and I think they'd like to end up wiby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree Samuel, Jr. would be the ideal value and fit pick at 57. Like you, I doubt he's there. I would guess he goes between 29 and 40. But it IS possible he's there. I think about a guy like Chase Winovich two years ago- largely considered in the 32-40 range and ended up going 77th. So, doubtful....but possible... I have not been an ILB guy this Draft season but Cox to me seems like he couldby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
2/63- Quinn Meinerz, IOL | Wisconsin-Whitewater (via trade w/ KC) 3/88- Rashad Weaver, EDGE | Pittsburgh 3/103- Dylan Moses, LB | Alabama 4/141- Cameron Sample, EDGE | Tulane 4/144- Shakur Brown, CB | Michigan State (via trade w/ KC) 5/181- William Bradley-King, EDGE | Baylor (via trade w/ KC) 6/209- Shi Smith, WR | South Carolina 7/252- Avery Williams, CB | Boise Stateby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I haven't wasted much time studying the QBs since the Rams aren't remotely in the market. But I have two basic thoughts: 1. History says that among Wilson, Jones, Fields and Lance that ONE of them will turn out very good. Right now I'd pick Wilson. 2. I would much rather take Trask in round 2 than Jones in the top 5. A team like the Steelers would be really smart to try and land Trask in theby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
...is to say he's acclimated to NFL speed. Sure, he's been in 3 training camps. But he's played 23 snaps on offense in his career.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I heard them talking about this on Sirius XM NFL Radio on Friday. They basically said Denver's roster overall is very good and mainly held back by a bottom tier QB which is why they could be a likely candidate to trade up on Thursday (i.e. 9th to 4th w/ ATL).by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Depends on what the new ST thinks. Adding that Bills punter is definitely an interesting move. The issue with Hekker is not the salary per se, they can afford to keep him, its that the salary clearly did not match performance in 2020. I would prefer to keep him this year and possibly move on in 2022 if he does not give them top 3-5 punter production. Doubtful they could get a day 2 pick fromby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
"Beginning April 15, 2021, every Californian age 16 and older will become eligible for COVID-19 vaccines." It's one thing to say showing up April 19th is too early. It's another to say not at all... I agree that it's just union posturing.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
