An offensive leaning, detail oriented head coach to counteract the defensive player's coach that Fisher was. I resented that Gruden got a ring with Dungy's team but maybe Tony wasn't going to get them over the hump. The same way as much as I like Singletary I am not sure he could have taken the Niners where Harbaugh did at the time. The only downside is this team's defensive personnel was builtby RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Name one player on the OL that is exceeding expectations. Tell me if the OL is gelling and improving. I see no reason to keep coach Bud. I have no doubt that Gurley would look better than Elliot behind the Boy's line, and Case might produce better with more time and protection.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Amen, I am done with TA, plus he doesn't get the available return yards always swinging for the fences.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Tavon: defame, he,is approaching Isaiah Pead status for me, even when he does something good I am dubious. Only a gadget guy that should only get as many targets as Benny. Instead of trying to protect their signing of TAMPA for forcing the ball to TA, treat Britt as our number one pass option. Assuming we kept Janoris and TruJo Gaines would be the ideal nickel back and Joyner great as the dime. Still think Snisher should have found a way to keep both our cb's. If Gaines and Tru can stay healthy, it might be ok but no real depth behind them. Why did we lose Roberson, and keep Sensenbaugh?by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
truth be told I am not so jazzed about him as a punt returner either. sure he breaks one from time to time but the way he catches it loses ground and then decides to take off is rarely successful. I think he has an inflated opinion on his speed and escapability. I wouldn't mind seeing Cooper take over the roll though I am sure he won't because this might be the only way to justify TA's raise in sby RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSoCalRAMatic AD is the best player on our team and best DT in the NFL. He constantly bears double teams to make big plays. When Quinn is in they become an unstoppable force. Quinn makes bigger plays. Britt would be our offensive MVP. Gurley our most talented. that is kind of the way I feel about Quinn/Donald. After watching today's game, I became convinced of one thing. The Ram's most valuable players are Quinn, Donald and Gurley in that order. Don't get me wrong, I love Aaron as a player but a fully healthy Quinn brings more to the table than Donald does. I have seen peak Quinn and peak Donald separately and on the rare occasion together. The Ram's defense is better with peak Quinn than they are witby RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Today's performance leads me to believe that Quinn is the key to the defense, despite how good Donald is. They are a great 1-2 punch but there is a reason teams typically look for that outside pass rush demon. Too easy to double a guy on the inside.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Lions repeatedly in 3rd & long yet repeatedly converging. We needed Quinn today, without him this defense is average at best.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Are the Rams just being cautious with Quinn to avoid a JJ Watt situation or is this a possible repeat of last year? I remember the Rams down playing the seriousness of the Quinn situation until he was put on the IR. I hope that it is just being cautious.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotezn QuoteRams43 Kinda reminds me of, "Other than that, Mrs Lincoln, did you enjoy the play"? Well we are all wired differently. What it reminds ME of is the phrase, they beat themselves. Quotedroopy How important is the offensive line? Take a look at Dallas. They're lighting up the scoreboard with rookies at QB and RB. In Philadelphia Carson Wentz, who has all day to throw, is putting up impressive numbers and wins. In Minnesota Sam Bradford never looked so good now that he has an offensive line in front of him. We have a star running back but our offense has done very little. Whby RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote21Dog He changes the game by himself. He and Donald on the same DL is what makes the Rams scary, no other (well maybe the Broncos) can put two game changers like that on the same unit that both could require double teams on the field at the same time.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Does it usually take this long to get over a stinger? They might be just being cautious. I remember last year they made it seem like no big deal with Quinn until then he was gone for the year. I just don't want a JJ Watt situation.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
This appears to be a transition year for the NFC, who knows how it will shake out? Falcons, Eagles, Cowboys, Vikes and the rest of the West crew.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
that "Goff is 'ready' and Fisher has said so" is the hypothesis/theory that people who are lobbying for him to start now. They state Goff's readiness as exhibit A for making the switch now. I am not a 'start now' guy, just worried by how "unready" he appeared in the pre-season. Not a hater I want him to shine but putting him out there too quickly might do more harm than good.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Zn I was going to say you might have a point, but actually it appears that the silence proves that this theory/hypothesis is more wishful thinking than fact.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
I took what many have posted to be factual, but I have never personally heard it or seen it directly quoted. Might just be wishful thinking of people hoping that Goff can have some of the Dak or Wentz rookie QB magic. I had no reason to doubt the veracity, but it might just be wishful thinking on some fans part. Maybe someone else can.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
1) That Fisher has any idea about what it means for a QB to be 'ready' or 2) That he would say he was 'ready' regardless of if he was or not because to admit otherwise would expose the coaching staff and Snead to tremendous additional ridicule and scorn. We are a different team without Quinn, especially without being able to replace him with a player the caliber of Hayes. That plus if TruJo, Wichman, Brockers and others are not available. If everyone is available I like our chances.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Back in the day our top backups were Hayes and Sims, we were deep. Today's players were not nearly on that level. Longacre can dominate preseason games against 3rd stringers but he, Fox and Westbrook are better for spot duty and can't be counted on for major snaps. Don't agree with that, The team obviously has to reinvent itself a bit because the long drives are just another recipe for mistakes and less time to catch up if we are behind, We may as well Go for broke and throw the ball downfield.
