Yeah, I was maybe in my 30's when they started reporting that there were some in Oklahoma, I remember seeing 3 in the wild here, so they're not like super plentiful but there's a chance to see one now and then. I was driving across a bridge over the Arkansas River one day in Tulsa and one flew over the road probably 20 feet high and maybe 100 feet ahead of me. Just an incredible sight!by Aries - Bucky's Pub
You got two right. I was thinking eagles while I read that, before I got to your list of WAGs. I enjoy watching the hawks that live near me too, but eagles are just another level of majestic and I don't see them often.by Aries - Bucky's Pub
QuoteJamesJM But my guess is that you're a lot better than you give yourself credit for. You obviously love playing.... and that's the most important factor in making music. - JamesJM No, I'm actually worse. :lol1by Aries - Bucky's Pub
That's kind of true of guitarists too (that speed doesn't necessarily equate to artistry). I remember reading an article a while back, it may have been Dusty Hill who said of Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top) that his talent wasn't how fast he played, it was his tone. Gibbons style was very unique, even I recognized him on Jeff Healey's song "Cruel Little Number" and I'm not very smart. Had toby Aries - Bucky's Pub
I get that same impression about Steve. I'm not a heavy metal fan, but I'd still like to meet him and see him perform. I just love watching good guitarists of any genre. I am not in his league, not even in that conversation. I can play some chords. Back in the day I could play quite a few chords, but I was never more than a semi-competent rhythm guitarist. Really, I was a singer who could plaby Aries - Bucky's Pub
Even I know who Steve Winwood is, and I don't know nothin. Just ask ScRam. :lolby Aries - Bucky's Pub
I knew of him, but wasn't very familiar until he showed up as a coach on The Voice. He's pretty funny sometimes, as well. I always thought of him as a crooner, and never would have guessed he wrote that song.by Aries - Bucky's Pub
"Home" by Michael Buble I'm not sure who I thought did it... and I think several others have covered it. But I sure never thought of Michael Bubleby Aries - Bucky's Pub
Yeah, I should have thought of that. But in my mind Trent Green will always be the most significant injury in Rams history. Both because of what it meant to the destiny that COULD have been if he had stayed healthy. And the destiny that unfolded for Kurt Warner. As I remember, Green was killing it in pre-season before the injury, and as good as the Rams were with Warner I always wondered if thby Aries - Bucky's Pub

I want to strongly dispute your theory. I want to... but I can't.by Aries - Bucky's Pub
It's been a while back, but I vaguely remember someone on tv or radio talking about prices for prescription drugs, and one reason they cited for them going up was advertising. People go in to their doctor and say "I want to try the little blue pill", or even the brand name of some drug they've seen on tv. I dunno, that's just what they said. It just always strikes me as funny whenby Aries - Bucky's Pub
Schar has some good products, don't know that I've seen that particular bread. I've kind of settled on Whole Foods house brand, I think it's 365 or something for sandwich bread. I don't know if you have Red Robin, it's a hamburger place around here and they have the best buns I've had. I found out they come from Rotella Bakery, you can buy them on Amazon but you have to order like two dozen at aby Aries - Bucky's Pub
QuoteJamesJM I was just monitoring you two because I thought you might be talking about some new sex gadget on the market. :laughing That's a different thread.by Aries - Bucky's Pub
I didn't either until he brought it up. Austedo, it's mentioned in the title. And now THREE of us are talking about it, that's the irony. :lolby Aries - Bucky's Pub
Yeah, I see those people on the local news and they seem very excited. That is ALL Oklahoma City crowds. I went to church last night... not a huge crowd, maybe 50 or so people. Not one single mention of the game coming up in an hour or two. But I know there are fans here, I only knew when it was supposed to be on because my cousin mentioned he was going to watch with my aunt (his mother) whoby Aries - Bucky's Pub
1) You named the product in your post title so at some point you noticed it 2) I'd never seen the ad but googled it. So at least one extra person has seen it without even paying for commercial time. 3) We're still talking about it. If I'm the ad exec, these are reasons I tell the client you need to keep paying me. </shrug> :lol If you want I'll tell you the story of Linda Soundtrackby Aries - Bucky's Pub
I heard a sports guy on tv several days ago say that if the Thunder won it would be the greatest sports event in Oklahoma history. Uhhhhh.... there might be some hyperbole there. I'm not really sure how big it will be, but a lot of people were excited BEFORE last night. All I can tell you is that Academy in Tulsa said they would open after the game to sell Thunder t-shirts if they won, and eby Aries - Bucky's Pub
Well, you're talking about their commercial. Ad Execs don't hate that.by Aries - Bucky's Pub
I watched the game tonight. Probably the first NBA game I've watched even part of since the last time the Thunder was in the finals.by Aries - Bucky's Pub
The quoted price of a procedure like an MRI assuming insurance is smoke and mirrors. It has very little to do with reality. If you don't have insurance, they'll give you a cash price that is usually MUCH less than the quoted price. Assuming you are even able to pay. If you do have insurance, your insurance company probably has a contract with the hospital and their cost may be 10% of the quby Aries - Bucky's Pub
What do the machines cost? I have no idea... but I suspect there's more involved in the cost of doing an MRI than just the cost of the machine. That's not to say that MRI's are not VERY (and probably TOO) expensive. But an MRI has cost more than $300 for a LONG time, so if your cost after insurance has gone up to $300 it doesn't necessarily sound like the cost of MRI's are your problem... it'sby Aries - Bucky's Pub

Your initial reaction was natural. What you actually DID was compassionate and good. So what you did vs. what you initially wanted to do was anti-jack ass. It's just the actions that count this time. This was the logo for the University of Tulsa from the 80's. It is supposed to be a Golden Hurricane. One of my nephews asked why their logo was of a potato. You can see where he got it. :lol1by Aries - Bucky's Pub
Nope never took band. I was interested until they said there were no guitars, and I thought okay not for me. :lolby Aries - Bucky's Pub
