I'm not very vocal either. A big play, I might say something audible but mostly I just watch quietly. And that's why I don't go to live games. Read too many times on internet message boards, "If you don't want to stand up all the way through the game or scream your voice out, DON'T GO!" So I don't go. After thinking more about AvengerRam's post, I think I better understand his point and it is a valid point. But time is linear, and that was the question, so it doesn't really apply in that context. We were talking specifically about time. But let's look at your example. When you measure the circumference of a globe you pick a spot and measure from there around and back to the same spot. So there IS a beginning and and ending point to your measurement, it just happens to be the same spot because it's circular. Try selecting a spot to begin, but don't select a spot to end. I've thought about this, and here is my theory.... "Time" is the measurement of the interval from the beginning of something to the end of it. We see LOTS of those intervals... the time from midnight until now... the time since I was born until now, and eventually from the time I was born until I die... I don't know anything about migraines, as far as I know I've never had one. But nothing I've heard from people who do have them makes me want to experience it "just one time" to see what it's like. I believe there was like 2:07 or 2:09 seconds to go. Yes, the clock was going to stop at 2:00 but if they throw an incompletion it stops twice. Defense had been pretty good, I think they were hoping for a better punt and better defense. Except for a desperate throw, probably some footing issues at the other end, and a lot of luck, it would have worked perfectly. I don't think he pushed off. Thby Aries - RamsFootballFans.com

I've been a Renegades fan, but mostly just because of Bob Stoops. I also liked the Battlehawks because of the Rams connections. When Stoops announced his retirement I wondered if I would become a full-fledged Battlehawks fan. This probably settles it. The only formal group I was ever in was when I was in college, and we played at places where high school kids were gathering to try and get their interest in going to school there. So mostly they were probably 16 years old and younger.
