Fowler tore his ACL his rookie year and then couldn't get the job for 2 more years sitting behind a ProBowler(that Yannick guy). So, imo, Fowler is still a work in progress. The Rams liked him & wanted him back for another year but with a full offseason to integrate. The kid still seems hungry...has a good motor...and can bring the heat sometimes tho he had few sacks this year he flashed aby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I think Barr could be a very good EDGE but that's kinda based on speculation as he wasn't asked to do much of that in Min. iirc However, Fowler and barr would be a VERY athletic EDGE group!! btw- I sure wished I saw more of OBO cuz he's a real question mark to me. Obo's tape looks wild... like my kind of EDGE...... fast, non-stop motor and violent while going for the strip sack most timby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
He didn't play/start much at Jax cuz he was beat out, I thot, by Yannick or someone. iirc If I'm wrong then nevermind...but I feel he has real upside and seems like a hard working kid with a pretty good motor and violence when rushing the passer. imo I mean, if we don't sign Fowler...I'm taking an EDGE guy at #31 either way(Ferguson, Winnovich, etc)... maybe a trade back if there's valueby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
just sayin they Rams may like Kiser...and Allen...and Noteboom tho they played very little other than STs.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I'd love to sign Thomas as the single high FS for us on a 2-3 year deal... if not, then maybe a TMathieu for a 2-3yr deal. Those guys are game-changers at FS. IF the Rams don't wanna sign FAs...and wait so it doesn't affect the comp picks algorithm...then, fine. Just sayin I like those two FSs...a lot!! I'd try for Ford or JustonHouston as a cheap substitute...but DeedFord would cost a picby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
after sitting and watching. I think the Rams have proven they can develop their young talent and slide them in but prefer to wait a bit to give them time to learn... if the Rams can afford to due to the player in front of them. Same applies here. imo we'll see.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
he sat behind Mo for 5-7 games iirc...then, they started the kid. Kiser has been behind Barron - a long time starter for the Rams. I can really see Kiser next to Littleton...and think they would compliment each other well. Also, when thinking about the OL and Boom & Allen and how they handled those guys last year. The Rams had the luxury to bring them along slowly and get them ready toby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Every team knew Allen was small for an NFL OL. Perhaps the RZ scheme that the Rams use makes Allen more viable and valuable than a huge mauling Center that has slower feet or bad leverage sometimes. I dunno. Maybe the Rams just thot he'd be a good back-up. I dunno. But...the Rams knew that he was a smallish OC....and drafted him fairly high(4th) so they liked something he did. I just readby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
and he'd be interesting to me. otherwise? meh. I like CJMosley pairing with Littleton inside...and maybe a cheap NT.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
or any OL that may fall. But I'd predict a trade down even if just to net us 3rd or 4th...for a few spots into the 2nd round.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
14-17m/yr type money??by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I'd like you to do a position list(top 5 at each position)...that is SPECIFICALLY, Rams centric. It would help me during the draft to go down the list during the draft...oh nevermind....I'm just yapping!! lolby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
...for players that would be great fits for what WE do...how they'd fit into what the coaches do, etc. It'd save a lot of time in wondering for us all!!! great work, as always!!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
it's his 3rd contract! Then why is the writer scaring me with the "highest paid OG" thing?!! Ugh, I hate hyperbole.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Littleton played STs mostly...only. iirc Littleton was behind Hager? iirc... ...just sayin look what a year did for Littleton's game & confidence?!!!! I remember seeing Kiser this last PS and seeing him make plays in the passing game - breaking up some passes. I remember think the kid looked far more nimble than what had been scouted on him and I realized why many of our draft guys likby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I get so confused these days...;)by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Trade away all my picks!!! lol....jk but, I'd use that strategy again...the one we've been using with trades/draft picks...I like paying for "sure" talent than gambling on a draft pick... but it's gotta make sense and work...and not mess up our future. imoby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
We need an screamer off the EDGE more than another DT next AD. imo (tho both are good...just my preference) Then, I'd trade down a few spots out of the first - pick up another 3rd - draft DT JSimmons and sit him for a year...and draft another EDGE guys that drops to the 3rd...then a OL and/or Safety.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
That's 5 new players for the defense...or HALF the players on our defense!!! We need OLs just for depth...which we can draft in the mid-late rounds, if needed.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
just like a little younger legs with Brown...but CJ's leadership is off the charts. I LOVE his interviews...so honest & intelligent.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
but let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater kinda thing. It was a schematic issue that McVay didn't overcome to give his offense some counters... that's a far cry from not having the talent to execute the plays that are called. Even so, there are just BAD DAYS in sports as there is in life....perhaps if the Rams played the Pats again the Rams would hold the Pats to 3pts. Hell, weby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I always liked him.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
a multi-year deal with Brown for cheap!!! 3-4yrs @ 2-3m/yr??? 4yrs@12m with 5m guaranteed or something?? i'm not a cap guy...and more than that..... I don't know how to do math!!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
and I wonder if we use any late round picks to trade...for DTs that are still under contract so as not to mess with the comp pick algorithm. Also, I wonder if we trade down to mid 2nd round picking up another 3rd & 4th and drafting Simmons and redshirt him this year. It'd be a helluva move for 2020.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
it's all just sooo sad. btw - These sex-trafficking crimes need to have some serious time attached for convictions....not so much the buyers... but the Pimps, ringleaders, investors, managers...whatever they're called, man...it beyond inhuman!! I just wish prostitution was legal if it helped the women - which I have to think it would. Just get it outta the shadows....same with pot. Takeby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
