I used to be that way myself... with everything... car repairs, electrical repairs, home repairs.. .you name it, I did it. These days, however... I just don't have the energy... nor, sadly, the ambition. HOWEVER... I have considered the countertop remodel by doing it myself... although I would hire one guy to help out simply because countertops is one thing I've never done. And you're rby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

so then Pass Interference is only "HOLDING". Called HOLDING before the ball is thrown and then PASS INTERFERENCE once the ball is thrown?by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
maybe you're right.... but interfering without hands, IOW NOT holding, is still interfering... it's called all the time... think of the 'he didn't look back for the ball'. And that's irrelevant to when the ball is in the air.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Funny I remember that but I do... it's what my Dad paid for his new custom built home back in 1958. At the time it was quite a home, I should add. I think 2,600 sq ft which back then was considered a mansion around these parts. Now why am I mentioning that? I just got an estimate for all new countertops... and tile in two bathrooms... the estimate came too: $39,000. So it fell intoby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
is one of the most difficult accomplishments in football. At least they used to say that.. I don't hear it very often these days.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Back in the late 60's, thru the 70's... I believe every jersey I owned had a defensive player's name on it. When I analyzed upcoming games I always started with the Ram's D... what they could do to stop the opposing team's offense. Without saying this is 'true' about offense and defense, (wouldn't think of making a statement that bold).. for *ME*, just speaking for myself... defense is farby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Give Fisher as an example of a 'defensive game'... bad, bad, bad example for us defensive guys. :laughingby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm quite happy the Ram's did this well... but at the same time... I was actually shocked how few people in the USA watched the game... that watch football at all, apparently. Among my friends... even semi-friends on social media, I'm aware of only two people who didn't watch the game.. My wife and Waterfield's wife. And my wife watched half of it. Even two of my younger grandson's who wouby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Same here... 1 Team... Rams. Over the years there have been other teams I've 'liked'...but if they played the Rams there was zero conflict... RAMS. :laughing Ironically enough in the 60's I 'chose' a team in the AFL... The Chiefs. I was actually rooting for the Chiefs in the 1st SB... GB being an arch rival. Today I cheer for the Chargers because I have a grandson that likes them.. his faby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

both the game plan AND the game situations. Gurley, IMO, ran very well after injury. Sure, he may have been somewhat limited but VERY limited, IMHO. I have no doubt that given the opening he would have taken it to the house last night in any quarter you choose. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
even posted something similar earlier. The 'Old Girl', (the Coliseum), was magnificent last night... Rams for sure... but also the Olympics, some of the best college games I've ever seen. Last night she was at her FINEST... her most glorious. I'm sure you've watched some of the videos of the game last night... seriously, she never looked more regal.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
He grew up with dogs.. owned a couple when he lived in the USA... but he's been out of the USA and unable to own a dog for over 10 years now. So today was his birthday... we Facetime'd him... and he sent us a photo that caught me by surprised. He just bought a house in England... but the photo wasn't of the house... it was his new family member: They don't have him yet... too young...by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I was not annoyed by his comments... in fact I understood his point very well... but it didn't set right... and was too lazy to reply in depth... YOU DID. Thanks. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

for me, and I think a few others.. until last night I wasn't really convinced the Ram's were ready to advance as far as the NFC Championship.. much less the SB. Now OF COURSE... they are human, and may not THIS YEAR... BUT.. last night convinced me they are ready to challenge.. against anyone, anywhere. So as fantastic as the game was it was even MORe than that for me.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

Had a doctors's appointment today... talked to the receptionist about the Rams... then the nurse... and then the doctor. Not too long ago I penned a thread in which I said that being such a long time fan... having lived the 70's and 80's... the Rams are perpetually in my mind 'winners'. By the way... looks like they halted the skid just in time. But, and unfortunately, you reminded me of yet another 'jinx' that I will now have in mind.... like most, not all, I felt Martz took a potential dynasty and squanderedby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
That my wife LEFT THE RAMS GAME TO GO SEE????????????????????????????? She walked out.... well, when was it? Halftime? 3rd Quarter... doesn't matter... WHENEVER it was It confirmed my belief that that show is more heinous, vile, and ADDICTIVE than heroin. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
