We’ve been told that all QBs drop precipitously in performance when their OLs aren’t doing well. And while that may be true I decided to stop being lazy and lookup how well Goff was doing relative to other QBs when under pressure. Here is a surprising nugget I found right up front: Tom Brady is not doing very well this year. He’s actually beneath Goff this year in several of the categories Iby dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteshellback But I think some one will have to take the bullet after this year, expectations was to high and a lot of trades and contracts are not looking very good atm. I think it will be Wade or Snead. But then again I'm not even close to an expert. I know I will watch every game I can this year and pay 200 euros to do the same next year, regardless of what moves they make. I haven't paidby dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
Oh, I'm way past admitting that part of the problem is Goff. That said, it's clear the OL has played horribly this entire year. Whether it be injury, lack of experience, lack of coherence with the two newcomers and position changes, or regression by Whit and Hav, it's plain to see that the OL has been near the worst in the league. I believe Goff is part of the problem because he doesn't jby dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com

Quotezn QuoteRamgator. You are Snead the day after the season. I am Snead. Commentary on the Plan: 1) The Rams gambled and went with youth on the OL. It was a mistake and one I think they’ll rectify by bringing in a little bit of experience. I’m not totally sold on Goff being the answer at QB; others are and pin most of the blame for this year on the OL. What we all should agree on is Goff NEEDS a high performing OL to excel. Therefore, they must prioritize thaby dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com

Quotezn QuoteL.A.Rams Any chance the Rams had last night went up in smoke when Goff couldn't get drives moving and then failed to hit receivers on plays that should have been TDs. Goff now has plenty of experience. So it doesn't appear that he will get any better. This is who he is. McVay isn't looking very good either, but you can't dump all of the blame on him. I keep hearing how the OL is the reason for Goff's decline. But I also thought that the OL had started playing better. What was you guys' assessment of OL play yesterday? It's strange we all credited the OL with doing very well against the Bears and yet the offense still struggled to score 17.
