Bryce Perkins seems to have more passion about playing QB than Goff.... Listen to him at 13:08 in the video and what he brings to the table...work horse and competing. I can't wait until this guy beats out Goff. 6'3'' 215 dual threat qb...with a stronger arm than Goff. Rams need a dual threat qb like Russell Wilson and Kyler Murray. Please McVay....wake up and give this guy a chance.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Basically the Dolphins played the Bears 46 defense - Buddy Ryan.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Isn't the solution to cover zero is to have quick inside slant throws to the receivers... That is assuming our receiver can get a quick move to the inside without getting jammed at the line and break free with speed....that is why Brandin Cooks was valuable. Goff needs to look for Van Jefferson and Robert Woods for those inside slants. The problem with Goff is he relies on Cooper Kupp toby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
The teams with the dynamic mobile QB are at the top of league.....Seahawks, Cardinals, Chiefs and Ravens. Although Rothlisberger isn't considered a mobile QB he makes up for it being mentally tough, physically able to take most hits without fumbling and shedding tacklers....making sandlot plays. Aaron Rodgers has crazy arm talent and quick release and can move if needed and also can play sanby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
If Jared Goff isn't the answer at QB.....maybe Bryce Perkins is.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Did anyone notice the play clock didn't stop on a bunch of plays even when the Ram's receivers didn't get tackled in bounds. What was up with that?by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Kurt didn't throw wobbly passes until he injured his thumb. Goff on the other hand has small hands. His small hands effect his throws in the rain in Washington a couple of weeks ago. Maybe Goff needs to start wearing gloves to get a better grip on the ball. Both of his TD passes last night were wounded ducks. I wonder if Goff is really the long term answer at QB. Bryce Perkins is a poorby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams need to replace Kiser at inside linebacker. Give Natrez Patrick a chance to play. He is 6'3'' 242 pounds..... Kiser is 6' 238 pounds. Natrez Patrick looked explosive in his college highlights and had that one sack on Dak Prescott in the preseason a couple of years ago..... Patrick definitely looks more athletic than Kiser.....Kiser was getting run over yesterday.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Remember the first year back in L.A. and that Monday night game against the Whiners? When Aaron Donald got ejected and took his helmet off and slammed it to the turf. That's the Aaron Donald that I expected to see yesterday..... I didn't see any emotion from Aaron Donald yesterday....It was a weird game....like all the guys were dazed and confused. It's like they decided to take the day offby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, Sloman needs to go....that botched extra point....seemed to set a bad tone early after a great catch by Woods. There is something about Goff playing evening games on grass in cool weather.... He definely plays better on artificial turf and ok on grass during the day..... Combination of cooler weather, grass and night throws him off...or the entire team.... This game reminded me of theby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Is there something wrong with Goff's hand ...saw alot of wounded and wobbly passes out there tonight.... That bomb to Reynolds for the TD was particularly wobbly. I guess playing at night on grass makes for a slicker football and the footing is worse ...always seems to effect the Rams pass offense negatively. Ball probably gets more slippery as the cold air makes the ball that much harder toby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
The 2 guys with enough speed to keep defenses honest is Van Jefferson and Reynolds on the deep ball.....Not sure why McVay has stopped calling deep throwing plays early in the game.....Ball control offense is fine but sometimes you need to throw deep to keep defenses honest and open things up for the run game. I want to see more deep passes like the one Reynolds caught last year against theby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
gotta be some sort of conspiracy...because the Rams looked like they didn't even want to play tonight....Just an all around weird game. It wasn't a beat down like 1995 when Ken Norton was punching the goal post....It was like Goff, Kupp and Woods were told to throw the game....Uncharacteristic of Kupp dropping the pass in the end zone .... Woods not fighting for the ball or asking for a passby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
It seemed like their game plan was to allow the 49ers to win. To lessen the Whiners chances of getting a top 10 pick in next years draft...Make them falsely believe Jittery Jimmy G is their long term starter so they keep their mediocre QB long term. It was a weird game....like the Rams were sleep walking...no emotions...how can a team that looked so confident in Washington look so disinteresby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSteve Why was he in the game? Why would any guy coming off an injury be in the game? I was also wondering why McVay wasn't putting in Wolford for mop up duty with a 30 -10 lead....by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteroman18 is to not give him anything to cheer about. We owe them, Coach knows it, everyone else (coach staff) is new to this rivalry. I know the team knows that this is a must win game....it's early in the season, but this is still a must win game. This game puts a stamp on what the RAMS are this season..... This game is similar to the 1995 and 1999 Rams vs 49ers games in regards to whatby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote21Dog Quoteleafnose How many times have I seen a depleted 49er team, with 2nd and 3rd team OL guys beat us? If Kittle is on the field, it's going to be war. If the club intends on making a case for post season, and having a chance at homefield seeding? This is the first game of that assault. Exactly. Still a lot of talent on that team, injuries aside. Rams need to dominate the 49eby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamsdude Quoteoldschoolramfan Sooooo, the WHINERS are pulling a fast one on us already! The Bone Uni's were on the schedule and the WHINERS are now wearing all whites on Sunday night. Let's just beat these guys! Typical RIVALRY move if there ever was one. Rams need to come out fast and just keep the pedal to the metal for the entire night! Yup, a typical Farty Whiner move but itby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Hopefully they keep Rapp in the box because they will be running Mostert and if that guy gets past the defensive line....Rapp will need to take good angles in tackling that guy because I don't think Rapp has the speed to catch him from behind. Hopefully the Rams asserts themselves early and the 49ers continue to play like an undisciplined and beaten team. Especially the 49ers offensive line loby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm thinking the 49ers game plan is to run on 80% of the plays. Hopefully the linebackers and safeties take good angles in tackling Mostert..if he gets past the defensive line....it might be off to the races.... I'm worried about our linebackers lack of speed. In addition, expect Salah to stack the box and dial up the blitz on Goff. Rams offensive line need to dominate from the start. Tby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
One could argue that Jared Goff was just as good as Josh Allen on Sunday....he threw for basically the same stats and lead his team back from a 25 point deficit to lead.....yet no one was talking about his performance. Allen gets bailed out on 4th down and now he is the best qb in the league? Did anyone in the media even notice Goff passing for 300 plus yards and leading his team on a 97 yard dby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Funny how McVay brings in young defensive and offensive coordinators but adds an old man from a bad team for the special team coach? The old guy Bonamego....came from Detroit...not exactly a winning team. It's like McVay decided special teams isn't that important except for the punter.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
I remember watching that 1989 Bills game as a kid on Monday night. I was so sick to my stomach with that defense that I couldn't go to school the next day. Great throw by Everett to Flipper... I went from yelling and jumping up on down that we were going to win to seeing the defense collapse and get beat by Frank Reich the back up QB..by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com

Good thing the Rams didn't install Field Turf at So-Fi. Hoping that the new Matrix Turf doesn't have that new turf injury reputation that new Field Turf seems to be getting at Met life stadium. Players are saying that new field turf needs to be broken in...Calling it spongy... and cleats getting stuck...I checked the Rams schedule and the games against the Giants and Jets are at Sofi....woohooby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Can Natrez Patrick replace Kiser at ILB? Why is this guy on the practice squad? He looks big and fast enough to play ILB. Here is his college plays. .. He sacked Dak Prescott in the preseason a year ago. See play at 32 seconds.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
I hope they don't see Bryce Perkins on our practice squad...lol. Can you imagine if they had a running qbby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Too bad we can't turn Taylor Rapp into a ILB. Rapp has ILB instincts and takes good angles tackling... too bad he is too small to hold up to the pounding. Kiser is going to be the weak link in this defense. Our safeties will get beat up if we don't replace Kiser.....We need more speed and toughness at the inside linebacker position. Natrez Patrick needs to be promoted from the practice squad.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
