Bryce Perkins looks like he really improved his throwing motion. Really poised in the red zone. Can you imagine in a couple of years Perkins taking over for Stafford and running circles around the 49ers. Mcvay will make Shanahan look foolish for trading for Lance. Undrafted free agent......while the 49ers traded away all that draft capital for an nervous inaccurate overrated Trey Lance.by RamsAl48 - Game Time Forum
I hope we see Bryce Perkins throw alot this preseason. Seems like his throwing mechanics has improved from his college days. That one throw looked pretty good today.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com

Go Bryce Perkins.... 4.55 speed and protype QB size....6'3'' 215.... Decent arm. Who knows he might be the answer at qb in a couple of year. Hoping Stafford stays healthy but we really need to develop a young future qb. Especially with no first round picks.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Anybody watching Bryce Perkins in camp? How does he look? Seems like Wolford is getting all the 2nd string practice throws. He is wearing Goff's old number #16 since Ramsey took #5. Does he have a chance to be the future starting QB in 3-5 years?by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotenapoli McVay on the hot seat and not for just one game. All season! Stafford can read defenses and he has that arm talent that will keep defenses honest especially with Cam Akers. Baring injury and the offensive line collapsing....Stafford is a smart trade and will make everyone forget about Goff. I want to see a comparison of passing yards through the air between Goff and Stafford.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteDaJudge ...all that matters to me is the Rams putting a winner on the field. But don't dazzle yourself with pixie dust too quickly, when one looks objectively at Staffords numbers in the NFL, they're not much different than Goff. TD/INT ratio, comp #, avg and rating. Stafford is our guy now and I'm all in. But I believe they're aggressive dumping of draft capital is going to biteby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills you know the saying Houston still needs a coach. We don’t know what the cap will be so teams are waiting on that. QuoteLMU93 I think it's OK to say both- that Goff was below average overall when it comes to the entire 2020 season (23rd in passer rating and ESPN's QBR rating, rated 20th by Football Outsiders and 22nd by PFF) AND that he was pretty good in the postseason- especially considering the thumb issue and limited practice pre-SEA. 100.7 QB rating in the two games. QuoteRampage2K- Quoteroman18 There is my exact point.....there is a real comparison if it's over an entire season....you have numbers over an extended period....And also by the way you have never seen me compare Goff's 22nd spot to anyone.....I don't do those things, I made this comparison to show that a rating can be not so truthful in actual game #'s. The rating itself proves nothing comparingby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com

I think McVay finally realizes that Goff is too soft. He may be tough and willing to play hurt....his stats are deceiving....the biggest issue is taking those 4 sacks yesterday. He can at least attempt to throw the ball deep when it's 3rd and long. I personally think Goff doesn't have the arm strength to make a deep pass under duress to give his team a chance. Quotereggae Who cares. We missed Cooks this year. Reynolds was not the replacement. Wasn't Reynolds fault. Goff can only pass to Kupp and Woods. Goff has tunnel vision. Quotepromomasterj I enjoyed watching Wolford run the offense and play well enough to beat a team we dominated in nearly every category. It's a great story and a feather in the cap for McVay and Snead. During the offseason we were rated as having one of the worst backup QB situations in the league. Umm..no. But to think that he's the future is not realistic. We will ride or die with Goff neby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think McVay realizes that Wolford fits his offense better than Goff. McVay even said Wolford is like Doug Flutie in those preseason clips after Wolford made some amazing plays in practice..... This is like the situation with the Buffalo back in 1999-2000 years with Wade Phillips and the owner meddling and calling to start Rob Johnson over Doug Flutie......Hopefully McVay isn't going to be likeby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
I rather lose with Wolf knowing he gives the Rams the best chance to win in a cold damp environment with a Seattle "D" that will be stacked and pinning their ears back. We know Goff stands little chance of pulling out this game with his damaged thumb and his history of crumbling against defenses that will be blitzing and looking to collapse the pocket. It should be interesting to see if Van Jefferson can step up and make the big plays and be the safety valve for John Wolford this Sunday.
