I think McVay realizes that Wolford fits his offense better than Goff. McVay even said Wolford is like Doug Flutie in those preseason clips after Wolford made some amazing plays in practice..... This is like the situation with the Buffalo back in 1999-2000 years with Wade Phillips and the owner meddling and calling to start Rob Johnson over Doug Flutie......Hopefully McVay isn't going to be like Wade Phillips and give in just because the owner is paying Goff big money to play.

Plus,Wolford seems like more of a student of the game and the guy is sharp and quick....something that Goff isn't..... I think his former AAF coach...Neuheisel said he was like a 2nd coach on the field and can see him being a coach some day.

While Goff doesn't even know if the sun rises from the east or west. Goff is like Sam Bradford....not much passion for football......Didn't Sam Bradford say that his favorite game to play was ping pong? Goff seems more like a golfing type of a guy. I think I saw a clip of Goff showing off his backyard with a mini golf putting green in his backyard.
